Hi everyone and sorry for not posting lately..Been a little bit busy with some other things, but I really miss this blog and all of you guys..Sorry for not visiting you lately.
Yesterday,I visited one of my friends in the neighborhood after my work. We were 3 girls having chika2x coz one other friend was also there for a visit. We were having fun and suddenly, they brought up the topic about my "long hair" once more and asked if I'm not tired of having a long hair. And I told them that I love my long hair, but I want it cut but not too short. Since one of my friend knew how to make a haircut,so I decided to ask her to cut my hair in a nice and fashionable way...without thinking that much...and so she cut my hair and when I touched my hair to determine the length,it was already very short, just inches below the shoulder..huhhuhuhhuhu...I was really upset..but then on the other hand,I felt great coz it felt lighter,as if I had unload my burden..
But when I went home to my apartment, the feeling of regret begun to sink in unto my mind..I felt a great loss..And to the extent of not wanting to move so much.I was really depressed coz I kept on thinking about my long, black hair. For sure,my other friends (who love my hair) will condemn me tomorrow. That's why I didn't go out today coz I felt to weak.
I sent my Mother a text message that I'm not feeling well and so on coz of my hair. And Mama says and it's ok since the hair will still grow and she find it funny coz she thought that the reason why I felt weak was something serious..
Hayyyyy, that's really one of my problems coz I decide on things hurriedly and I'll regret a lot later..I know it's a sign of immaturity and I have to work it over.My bestfriend knew me so well, and everytime I'll buy something, she will always ask me if I'm already sure coz there where already a lot of instances where I bought things and then later I'll ask my friends to buy it once more from me (paulian..don't know the exact english term) coz I realize that I don't actually like the thing...
But now,I'm a little bit relieved coz I chatted with my friends and they told me that they like my new haristyle, but I really have to put into my mind that my hair will still grow and that I cn have a long hair in the coming months..
It's also an act of bravery for me,coz I already wanted to have a new hairstyle but then scared to do so coz I used to have a long hair since childhood and this is just the 2nd time for me to have a short hair..
I'll just have to put in mind that I have to let go of some things...so no more regrets as much as possible..huhuhuhu
Happy weekend everyone!

An urge

It's been a while that I've been wandering from blog to blog to read entries and be inspired by their stories and their writing skills. After blog hopping this afternoon, with all the accumulated amazement felt for the unique writing skills of different bloggers, I felt a tremendous urge to improve my writing skill. Hmmmm, but the first question that came to mind was : do I have a writing skill after all?hehehehe
Whether the answer to my query is a yes or a no, all I want to do is to improve the way of putting my thoughts into writing. Because most of the time, I write just for the sake of writing. But maybe I have to involve my heart and let it press the keyboard invisibly as to come up with a more organized post.
What do you think?

A baby with 25 middle names

(Photo grabbed from Yahoo News).Ohhh my!! I can't believe it!!I just read the news a while ago that a new-born baby somewhere in London is given 25 names by her parents. The Baby's first name is Autumn and Brown is the last name. But she's given 25 middle names and all 25 are based from the greatest boxers in history since the mother's family is a boxing fanatic.Baby Autumn's full name which amazes the register office staff in Perton, Wolverhampton is: Autumn Sullivan Corbett Fitzsimmons Jeffries Hart Burns Johnson Willard Dempsey Tunney Schmeling Sharkey Carnera Baer Braddock Louis Charles Walcott Marciano Patterson Johansson Liston Clay Frazier Foreman Brown.
What a name!!!So it means that the Baby's total name is made up of 27 words.Having several names is pretty cool, but 25 names is too much for me.It's no longer advisable coz the child might be confused.
Another free day!

Hi Everyone!!
I'm sooo relaxed today as well as yesterday. The kids went to their grandparents' summerhouse yesterday and their father drove them there,so they told me not to prepare dinner.Yesss and I was off early.
And today,my employers also told me not to make dinner coz they'll be going out after work.Yeheyyyy, this is my kind of day, hehehe.I already clean the house yesterday,so I just did a little bit of dusting and then put some more laundry in the washing.I only worked for an hour there and now I'm already sitting in front of my lappy and I'm getting bored, huhuhu. The surrouding is sooo quiet..huhuhuuh.
I need to find some entertainment here or else I'm gonna burst into tears...huhuhuhu

Good day everyone!I hope you had a nice weekend.
I was not able to make a post last night coz I was sooo tired from the party where we served last saturday.
We started working at 3pm.We arranged the tables (11 tables),plates, table napkins, spoon, forks, glasses, etc. for 90 guests. Then the party started at 6 in the evening. The host hired a caterer,so the waiters and the cook from the catering company also helped us in serving the guests. It was such a nice party because there was a live band which they enjoyed after the dinner. Then a male singer serenade them while eating.
And too bad coz it was raining,so the kitchen was so dirty. There were 6 of us (filipina girls) who served in the party and we were very busy refilling the wines and beers on every table. When the guests transfered to the other side of the house for more drinks and for the live band,we started cleaning the place where they ate..And it was already 2 in the morning when the chef allowed us rest.It was after we arranged the center table for the cake and then the chef and his companions will be the one to clean afterwards.
I went home to my apartment and my other friends drove to one of my friend's place.I slept until 12noon and then my friend called and told me that the 4 og us has to come back to her employer's place to clean up the mess from lastnight's party. So we started working again at around 4pm and was finally done at 8 in the evening..Too bad and we were not able to attend the Holy Mass.
Good thing and her employer paid us well,so atleast it was worth it.And I'm so happy coz I already have a pocket money for my upcoming trip to Belgium..hurrah!!Thanks GOD for it.
Happy Monday everyone!

Time really flies so fast.It seems to me that it was just Monday yesterday and suddenly it's already friday and it's weekend once again!Hurrah!!
I was done cleaning my employer's place at around 2 in the afternoon because I started a little bit late (10am) coz my female employer left for work late. After cleaning,I went down to my apartment and started sitting in front of my lappy and multi-tasking (checking e-mails,blogging and watching teleseryes),heheheh. And until now I'm still sitting in front of my lappy, grrrrrrrrrr my back is already aching...gonna stop in a little while.I'm already addicted!!help me......
I decided to stay here in the apartment for the weekend because one of my friend's here in the neighborhood (also an au pair) asked me to be part of the servers on her employer's party tomorrow. So I said yes coz it means extra money for me,hehhehe. The party will start at 3 in the afternoon til 10 in the evening and there will be a live band and it's a huge party since there will be 90 guests..Hmmmm we'll be very busy for sure.
Got to go for now everyone and Happy weekend to all!

Now that summer is finally here,a lot of parents are looking for tutors for their children to impart additional knowledge to their children while away from the their classrooms. But parents should choose a tutor very well, one that possess good qualities of being a tutor and they should look for an Innovative Tutor as to present ideas to the children using new and creative methods, ideas, etc. for the children not to get bored. Being a tutor is not an easy task and looking for one is not easy as well.:)

Hi everyone!!I hope that you are all doing well outthere.I have a nice day today in my employer's place because I'm not busy at all.I only worked for less than 2 hours since the house is clean.
Opss, sorry and I was not able to make posts yesterday coz one of my friends surprised me with her visit,.I was sitting in front of my lappy when she knocked on the door and then we talked for a while and she invited me to go one of our friend's place (since she has a car) and so I said yes coz I need to go out sometimes and take a break from lappy,.We had a good chat with our friends there and it was already midnight when we came back,so I was already tired to make entries, but i still managed to watch some teleseries, heheh.too bad of me.
At around 2pm,my male employer called me and said that he has good and bad news for me.Hmmm,i was really wondering what it is,then he told me about it. The good news is that I don't have to make dinner for them coz they will not be home but I have to prepare ready-made food for the children. And the bad news,i have to babysit tonight since they're going to a party (that's why they won't be eating dinner at home),ohohhh I just hope that the kids will behave this time.
And right now I'm here in my employer's place. The kids where already asleep at around 8pm and good thing coz they behaved well tonight. I did a little trick, hehhe.I played jumping rope with them (Norwegian version) and after several minutes,I told them to go upstairs and brush their teeth and viola!!they followed my instruction without hesitation!!goodyyy!!But later, the youngest kept on going down to ask for water, maybe 5 times, what a thirsty kid!!I was already irritated,so the last time she asked for water,I gave her a glass and a bottle of water so she'll have plenty upstairs,.
I hope that my employers will go home a little bit early tonight.Have a nice evening everyone!

There's a good news to meeting planners outthere that would make you job easier than ever.RegOnline has a new feature called Reg-analytics Report which allows meeting planners to see how many people came to their online event registration forms, from where, what % completed the form, how long it took them, where in the registration process they bailed out, etc.
One good thing about this new feature is the ability to create flexible and powerful online registration forms.I'f I'm a meeting planner right now then I'll use it to catch more costumers by making a nice and user-friendly registration forms. And I'll see to it that filling-up the registration form will not take much of their time by asking only the most necessary questions. Another good thing is that they have very affordable rates for both small and big events and the payment process is also very convenient since costumers can use their credit cards.
If you're seeking help in organizing meetings and events, then visit RegOnline now and allow them to make your job a lot easier.

I was blog hopping yesterday and I came across one of Life's All That entries (owned by my virtual friend,Cheche) enititled Coconuter. I read the post and there were several links given if I wanted to read more.So I clicked on the link since I find the story interesting.
David Poach is a Fil-Am who's been living a good life in Houston,Texas. He graduated as a Valedictorian in high school from a prestigious school, almost a triple degree holder and worked for 2 years at NASA.But then he decided to leave his luxurious life and go back to the Philippines, live a simple and difficult life just to find his true identity. I watched the video "Nagmamahal Kapamilya" episode on youtube where he was featured. As in he's really living a simple life in a place in Zambales. He lives in his Lola's house (not fully furnished and very simple) and he is raising chicken, duck, etc. and he cooks his own food.He eats food from the plants that he plant on the backyard and from the animals he's raising.
He is jobless right now and he takes a lot of pictures of people, places, etc. and he featured then in his blog named "Coconuter". He named his blog as such coz he thinks that his like a nuts(fool) seeking for a prefect life in the Philippines where everyone from there is trying their very best to go to America for greener pasture.
His story is really inspiring and very rare.If you want to know him more, visit his blog,Coconuter.
Oppsss, this is not a sponsored post.I just featured his story in this blog coz I find his life interesting.

A New TV Series : Burn Notice

I love watching detective and suspense movies since childhood and it continues as I grew older. I grew up in a remote area and it took a long time for my parents to buy a television. So we always go to one of our neighbors to watch television and gather in their living room, good thing and they're so nice for allowing a lot of children unto their home. I always go to the neighbor with my younger brother especially if the movie that will be showed in the television will be that of James Bond or Jackie Chan. I don't even have an idea on who they are,it's just that they're names are very famous in our community and everybody wants to watch their movies.
As I grew older,I was able to know a little bit about them and I already understood why people love to watch their movies. Those movies really entertain them as much as I do and they're somehow teaching the viewers on how to be smart especially when faced with tricky and dangerous situations, plus the movies have humor in them.
My love for detective and suspense movies also triggers me to watch TV series with spy and suspense themes. One of my favorites are Alias and 24 hours and I knew a lot of people who are also addicted to those TV series.
And as I was surfing in the net,I found out that there's a new american TV series that will start on June 28 and the new TV series is USA Network's Burn Notice. I already visited the site and read about the upcoming TV series and I'm really excited to watch it.For sure it will entertain my lonely days here in my apartment.
Burn Notice is all about a CIA Operative named Michael Weston (Jeffrey Donovan). While on assignment,he gets a "burn notice". And the suspense starts as he decides to go back to his home town, Miami, to find out the reason of his sudden termination.
I'm really looking forward for the pilot episode of this new detective TV series because I want to understand fully the meaning of "burn notice" since it's still vague to me and for sure it will be a hit!

To the special Man of my life

To all the special men of my life (My beloved and dearest Papa,my only and precious brother,my great Lolos and my supportive and protective Uncles),Happy Father's Day to all of you!
I'm going to devote this entry to the most special man of my life here on earth,my beloved Papa Jojo. I'm shedding tears as I'm writing this entry coz I just missed my Papa sooo much. Life has never been the same again after his tragic passing. It's really difficult for the entire family to continue living without the physical presence of a loving and responsible father. But despite it,my family and I are always thankful to GOD for giving us the strength to go on with life without Papa in our side. WE are comforted by the fact that Papa is only physically absent, but he is always with us spiritually and emotionally and that time will come when we will be united with him once again in paradise.
They said that I'm a carbon copy, a female version of my Papa and I agree with them. I really inherited Papa's physical appearance and his character (joker, strong, responsible, etc) and maybe it's one of the reason why I'm a Papa's girl since then. He's always protective and strict. I seldom go to discos when I was young and when I'm allowed to go, it's always part of a school activity and I have to go home when the clock strikes 12midnight.Though I don't have the special shoes, but I'm my Papa's Cinderella, hehehe. And he always waits for my arrival. My brother walks me home from the disco and he's allowed to stay in the disco til dawn or morning as long as I'm home at 12 midnight.
I'm really touched by my father's concern and I really appreciate his strictness as a sign of love, that Papa just cared for me so much and I'm really flattered about it.I never took it as a reason to get wild, just like what my friends did due to their parents strictness.
Wherever you are Pa,you are always here in our hearts and thoughts and we always love you. This one is for you:

One thing I missed much about my Papa is his sweet voice as he calls me "batiriday".It's a special petname for me that only my Papa uses in calling me especially if he's making "lambing". And "batiriti" for my younger brother.
Papa was so excited to attend my college graduation then and he already told my grandparents on both side to go with them to Iligan City (where I spent my college years,a place away from home). He was so proud that his first born will be graduating in college that he bragged about it to his friends. But too bad coz he passed away 6 months before the most awaited day.I was so sad during my graduation and I was sobbing during "Tribute to Parents" day. But I know that Papa was there, invisibly pinning the ribbon of success to me.
I'm sorry guys for being so emotional today and I know that this entry is not organize. I just wrote what comes unto my mind without organizing it.
And to all the fathers in the world, happy Father's day to all of you!

Hi everyone!I'm back from my weekend.
I went to my friend's place yesterday at around 7 in the evening. It was still very light,so it's safe to go out, hehehe. Summer time here is fun coz it makes almost the entire day light. It only get's dark for few hours, usually from 11pm to 4am and then it's light again.
I really had fun with 5 close friends who also spent the weekend at Ate Brenda's place. We were always laughing all the time.I'm really sorry if some of them got "pikon" of my jokes, ahehehe.
Then early this morning, one of our kikay friends (ahhehe),Ate Carol, made our "kilays" nicer..She shaped it using the puller,so I'm soo glad coz I have a nice "kilay" now..ahehhe.I used to have a nicely-shaped one during my vacation to Pinas, but then I was not able to maintain it coz of laziness, aheheh. So Ate Carol warned me to really maintain it coz she's not going to do it anymore for me the next time. And she told me too that I have to start putting make-up and said that when would I start then??if I'm already old enough??hehehe..what do you think guys??is it a nice idea??
Then at around 1pm I went to church together with my bestfriend Bhing to attend the household gathering with my SFC (Singles for Christ) sisters. We met them at the hall next to the church where they were selling some food and some of the money that will e earned will be used for our trip trip to Belgium this coming July. We also helped in washing the plates. I'm really happy coz I got to know more of my SFC sisters and I'm glad coz I'm back with my SFC family.
We stopped selling at around 5pm and get ready for the 6pm Mass. And good thing the rest of the food (cakes, puto, peanuts, etc) were given to us and each one of us has a "bring-house" on our bags, ahehhe. The foods were really delicious and I ate my portion right after arriving here in my apartment,it's so yummy!
We all attended the 6pm Mass and then went home to our respective places afterwards.
I hope to be more active in the community and I hope to know more of my SFC sisters and my Titos and Titas in the community.
Have a blessed sunday everyone!

Among the places I want to visit in Hawaii are Maui and Kauai. And in this dream vacation of mine,I want to travel in luxury and stay in a great accomodation like great condo rental rate kauai.
I just hope that I can visit Hawaii one of these days.If I can ,then for sure it will be a dream come true.

Hurrahhh,I'm done with my work now and I'm free for the weekend!!!
My female employer didn't go for work today because she's going to her parents summer house with the kids.My male employer will go to Sweden for an outing with his friends. I worked slowly this morning coz I don't want to make noise as much as possible coz my female employer is around.
Actually, I hate cleaning when someone is around, and my Au pair friends said the same. Good thing and my female employer went to the city at around 10am to buy a birthday present for her brother, so I was able to make the cleaning faster. And ohhhh,my female employer gave me some summer clothes. It's her clothes but she don't want to use them and they look new. I'm really glad about it.
I decided to stay in my apartment today and I'll just go to my friend's place tomorrow. So it means that I have a lot of time to relax and surf the net, hehehe.I'm going to watch some movies too.

I really love reading since my elementary years. Though I was not able to read fairytale stories like Cinderella,Snow White,Sleeping Beauty, etc. but I read the mini bible stories that we have at home and the books I have from school. And I was one of the Reading Tutors in my 6th grade in elementary and I was glad about it because I was able to help my classmates who were not so good in reading yet, but sometimes it also irritated me because tutoring them takes a long time and I'm itching to go out and play..hehehe.

Summer camps

I used to join girl scout camps during my elementary and high school years. I really had fun in all the camps that I joined. During summer vacations, I just stayed home and went to church during the afternoon to attend Flores de Mayo.
How I wish there were programs available in our locality such as Summer Camps to enhance my personality and my talents. It's really important for children to have some activities during vacations from school to make learning continuous.Especially now a days that children have already easy access to computer games and other computer-related stuffs.

About one month ago, I made a blog using the wordpress flatform for paid blogging purposes.I'm visiting it everyday and my last access to that blog of mine was last tuesday. The following day I received a message from Ate Nitz asking me if my wordpress blog is suspended. So I visit my blog immediately and true enough, I was no longer able to log in to my account and the message says "account suspended",huhuhu. I was really shocked and don't know why it happened. Do you have any idea??
I really felt bad about it coz I already posted about 30 entries there. I did try my best to make entries and suddenly my effort was all wasted.huhuhuhu

Online shopping

Online shopping is very common now a days because of the convenience it offers to busy shoppers who don't have the time to go to the malls. Online shopping also interests me though I'm not that busy because sometimes it's very tiring to roam around the spacious malls in pursuit of something to buy, something that will fit your needs or wants. One way of a smart online shopping is buy using coupon codes. You can find a lot of merchants that might be selling what you need. Example of the merchant that interests me is shoes.com. I love to shop for footwears and this merchant is perfect because they have available footwears for all ages, all styles and shoes of durable and famous brands such as Adidas,Oasis,Skechers and many more.
If you are looking for an online shop, you better check couponchief.com.

PPP is one of the most famous blogging site these days and for sure it will remain in the coming years. More bloggers are joining PPP everyday to benefit from their fabulous offers. And glad to be one of their posties..atlast!
PPP just keeps on surprising me despite being a newbie postie. I already made 7 posts with them and 4 are already approved while 3 are waiting for approval. They have already launched a lot of great offers which includes PPP Direct which has launched just recently.
And just today, PPP has launched another blog outreach program for all their posties. They had just informed the public about the completion of a $7 million second round investment led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, an investor in the company's Series A and one of the world’s leading high-technology venture capital firms. PPP has raised a total of over $ 10 million which will give the company considerable resources for further development as the industry’s leading Consumer Generated Advertising marketplace.
PPP was founded in 2006 and it has already signed more than 6,500 advertisers in it's ground breaking service which has enabled bloggers to be compensated for their efforts discussing specific companies, products or services via blogs, videos or other media and over 12,000 postings (mostly in the form of blogs)have already earned money for their creators through PayPerPost’s innovative marketplace.
The founder and managing director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Tim Draper says that "PayPerPost has laid a strong foundation for the future and that it continues to attract a critical mass of participants from both the advertising and blogging communities".
And here is the entire news:

Blogging Marketplace Secures $7 Million Series B
Draper Fisher Jurvetson leads round and joins Board of Directors
ORLANDO, FL – (June 12, 2007) – PayPerPost, the leading marketplace for advertisers to reach bloggers and other consumer content creators, today announced it has completed a $7 million second round investment led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, an investor in the company's Series A and one of the world’s leading high-technology venture capital firms. The financing brings the total amount of capital raised by PayPerPost to over $10 million, giving the company considerable resources for further development as the industry’s leading Consumer Generated Advertising marketplace. Additional participants in the round include existing investors Inflexion Partners and Village Ventures as well as new investor DFJ Gotham. With this investment, DFJ Managing Director Josh Stein also joins PayPerPost’s Board of Directors.
“PayPerPost created this exciting new advertising space and has established itself as the industry leader,” said Ted Murphy, chief executive officer of PayPerPost. “Although we’ve only used a portion of our first round capital, this added support from investors unlocks significant growth potential. Our content creator and advertiser ROI metrics clearly demonstrate the upside for PayPerPost’s model. We intend to use this capital to build the infrastructure, visibility and professional expertise necessary to reach and retain a greater network of advertisers and content creators than ever before.”
Since its founding in June of 2006, PayPerPost has signed more than 6,500 advertisers to its groundbreaking service, which has enabled Consumer Content Creators to be compensated for their efforts discussing specific companies, products or services via blogs, videos or other media. The content creators are required to disclose relationships with advertisers on their blog, providing transparency for the end reader. Over 125,000 Internet postings, most in the form of blogs, have already earned money for their creators through PayPerPost’s innovative marketplace. PayPerPost recently released PayPerPost Direct, a disruptive new service that allows advertisers to contract and negotiate directly with individual bloggers they identify through a safe, managed system.
“PayPerPost has laid a strong foundation for the future,” noted Tim Draper, founder and managing director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson. “It continues to attract a critical mass of participants from both the advertising and blogging communities. Analogous to Overture’s sponsored search model, we believe PayPerPost’s business model holds disruptive potential and will enable the company to thrive in the evolving paid-content arena.”
To mark the $7 million dollar funding, PayPerPost has launched a new website detailing the company’s service offering at http://www.payperpost.com. Bloggers and advertisers can easily sign up at the site and begin leveraging the self service marketplace.

Where are all the blinkies???

You maybe wondering why there's no more blinkies in my place.Sorry to inform you that I removed them temporarily because of some problems. Last friday before I went to my friend's place for the weekend, I made an entry here in my blog and added a new friend in my list but then I can't see my new post and the name in the blog though I can see it in the list of my posts. So I immediately sent an e-mail to Ate Choco for possible explanations. I was so confused coz she was able to view my post and my new added friend in her computer.I was so ashamed coz I was disturbing Ate Choco coz she was in her work that time, but I had no one to turn to..so nagpabaga na lang ko..sorry about it Ate.
Ate Choco told me that the loading might be slowed down because of the way I'm putting all the blinkies because I copied the direct links of the blinkies instead of copying just a portion of it. She e-mailed me the right way of copying the blinkie links and I edited the links rightaway.
I'm done and went to my friend's place. I checked my site later that night in my friend's place and I was upset since I didn't saw blinkies anymore, what I saw were all the codes..But I thought maybe it's because of their computer coz everytime I checked my blog there, there's always something wrong.
but when I went home on sunday,I found out that the blinkies were gone and replaced by the codes,so I deleted the codes coz it's not nice to see. I'm sure I edited the codes incorrectly. So I have to make it once again, but this time I have to be careful. Sorry Ate Choco,I'm such a lousy student..huhuhuh..But I'll try my best to study hard, ahehe.
So sorry folks, no blinkies for the moment.

My love to travel

I really love to travel since then, but I havn't done a lot of travels when I was still in the Philippines because of economic reasons.I just can't afford it,no matter how cheap the cost is. I don't have work and I depend on my mother for funding.
My travels to see some parts of God's creation started 2 years ago, when I started working in Denmark. I already had my own salary and my employers were generous enough to fund one of the travels I made and I'm really thankful to God about it. Some of the places I've been to are : Turkey, Rome,Italy,Paris,France and Sweden. An everytime I travel,I always stay in Cheap Hotels to save some money. I can't afford yet to travel in luxury and I have to stick with my budget. But it's really okey with me since I still get a nice accomodation and treatment. My employers in Denmark are the one who always arrange for my travels and make reservations for me. But now that I'm already in Norway,so I have to take care it myself.
I started surfing the net last week for Cheap Hotels in preparation for my trip to Brussels,Belgium this coming July 13-16 with other members of the SFC Community here in Norway to attend the SFC European Conference.I also attented last year's conference held in Paris,France. However,we didn't book our hotel accomodation with hotelreservations.com since it was our elders in the community who arranged our stay in Brussels.
Hotelreservations.com is really a travel agency especially for those people who wanted to save some money while travelling, just like me and the rest of my Au pair friends. It has a lot of offers such as hotels, motels, resorts, vacation rentals and more in affordable prices. It also offers great discounts on it's world wide destinations.
The next time I'll travels with my friends,I'll make sure to use hotelreservations.com to avail of their Cheap Hotels. I'm sure my friends will be glad of their services too because just like me,they are also wanted to travel without spending a lot of money.

The filipino community celebrated Philippine Independence today, but too bad and we were not able to attend..huhuhuh..we felt lazy..grrrrrrrrrrrrr
We just spent most of our time "chika2x" with one another and telling jokes most of the time.hehehe.

Yessss I'm lovin' PPP.Though I've been a postie for less than a week now,but I already heard about them months ago and there great way of helping bloggers to earn extra money through blogging. My friend Ate Nitz, also a PPP postie has explained me about the process of joining and how PPP works.
She explained to me that PPP will compensate me by making blog reviews for their clients.I was really interested since I love blogging and it will be a fun way of earning extra bucks as well.
And now that I'm already a PPP postie,I'll do my best to make good.I'm still waiting for my entries to be approved, then I'll have my first PPP income that time.I'm excited. Been planning to use my first PPP money for my trip to Brussels this coming July.I know it will not be that much, but for sure it will help.
How about you,do you love PPP too?

It's not my favorite subject at all. No matter how I tried to love Math, but I failed. I remember clearly that my parents were so upset about my grades in Math, huhuhu.I'm suppose to be good at it coz my parents are really good in Mathematics.Maybe,I didn't inherit the "math" genes after all, hehehe.
If ever I'll have kids of my own in the future,I want them to be good in Mathematics. And I might hire Math Tutors just to make sure that they won't be like me.

Hurrahh!!there's no more noise today. There's no more people working in the construction at this very moment.Maybe the workers are taking a break coz of the heat.I already opened the doors now while relaxing, hehehe.
But this morning,20 minutes to 8,the digging machine started echoing in the neighborhood and I was so upset.I'm thinking to get find earplugs. I walked the eldest daughter of my employer to school and when I came back, the machine has stopped.Yeheyyyyyyyy!!

PPP Direct

Been a PPP postie for less than a week now,but I always visit the site before to keep on reading. Just recently,PPP made it's Birdo release with several features and the huge one is PPP Direct which is another great oppurtunity for bloggers to make money.
PPP Direct allows advertisers to directly approach posties to write special blog posts for their products without the involvement of PayPerPost. And another good thing is that PPP Direct charges a minimum fee compared to their competitors. For example, ReviewMe charge 50-100% markup and keep up half your money, but PPP Direct only charges a 10% service fee where 5% of which goes to transaction fees for PayPal and credit card processing. So it means that you'll be keeping majority of the money. The PPP Direct widget also provides the convenience of easy use of the service for both bloggers and advertisers and advertisers can use their credit cards and avoid the long process of payment through Paypal.
PPP Direct is really a great feature of PPP and it will surely give bloggers more oppurtunities from the advertisers. My friends who are already PPP posties for a long time are already excited about this PPP Direct and they are looking forward to have more advertisers on their site as much as I do.

I was a bit irritated the whole day coz there's an on-going house construction in the neighboring lot..as in the lot next to my employer's house. The digging machine was noisily working from 8 this morning til 6pm.ohhhh my!!and yesterday,it was working the whole day too..grrrrrrrrrrrr..
The weather is so nice since monday and it was so hot inside the house,so I wanted to open the doors but I didn't coz the noise will become louder..And on tuesday,I had an early off since I didn't make dinner for my hostfamily coz they attended a school activity.I cleaned the glass doors and windows. I also called my family in Pinas, talked to my Mama and my brother and asked about the small eatery and glad coz they said that it's doing fine.
After my work on tuesday,I wanted to stay in the garden and continue reading the novel by Dean Koontz, but I didn't coz of the noise..how can I concentrate if the noise is just beside me..so I just stayed inside my apartment, still the noise was very audible. And just this afternoon,I really wanted to scream as to release some of my irritation coz the noise is going deep into my ears...I watered the plants outside..
When my female employer arrived from work, she was also irritated coz the workers should stop at 4pm to give some peace to the people in the neighborhood (their neighbors were also complaining about it).So she approached the machine operator, but he would only stop working with his employer's permission,so my employer called the construction company and asked them to stop the work now,but they said that they have permission til 10pm..ohhh myyy!!!.I made shrimps with cabbage and mushroom for dinner and we were eating with the loud noise ringing on our ears...and at around 6pm the machine finally stops.Maybe the construction company has called the operator to stop working.thanks...peace atlast..and I hope they're already done digging today...if not then I think I'm gonna put some earplugs tomorrow to avoid irritation...
I prayed the Holy Rosary and checked my e-mails and blogs afterwards..Too bad and I havn't done my exercise for more than a week now......what a shame!!
Ok folks, got to sleep and and I'll check to door before I go..Goodnight everyone!

First of all,I would like to apologize for not posting here lately.I've been bust but I'll do my best to double time.
Just this afternoon as I was blog hopping,I found a link to Julia Campbell's blog.I'm sure you all knew her because her untimely death was all over the news months ago. I've read a lot about her death and they provided link to her blog, but I didn't try to visit it coz I was busy that time..or maybe just trying to be busy..
Anyways,I finally visited her site and I was truly inspired and touched with her service to my dear Philippines and my countrymen.I started reading her blog at 6pm and planning to stop after an hour to do some things, but I was glued in front of my lappy.I read her blog from the very first entry til the last one and I was done at 9pm..so it took me 3 hours. In fact, my eyes are aching, but it was really worth it..
I know it's already late, but to the family and friends of Miss Julia,my deepest condolences. And in behalf of my countrymen, thank you very much Miss Julia for your leaving your comfort zone to serve in my our country. And I'm really sorry for what happened to you.I'm so ashamed that someone from my country did it to you.
May you rest in peace.I'll always pray for your soul and rest assured that your good deeds will never be forgotten.

Been wanting to post some of the inspiring text messages that I received from my friends, but just can't figure out how to put it in my blog.Glad and I was able to think of an idea to post it under "a thought for someone" section...so If you'll see a post like this in next days, then it means that it's a text message I received.
Here's the first one:
"Being happy doesn't mean everything is ok! It only means you've decided to see things beyond life's imperfections! Whatever happens, stay happy and enjoy what life brings!".

I've been away from my family in the Philippines for almost 3 years now.I wanted to communicate with them constantly, but too bad and calling cards are just so expensive here. Just this evening as I was surfing the net, I found a site featuring a Internatinal prepaid phone cards.
Pingo telephone cards are designed to save you money on domestic and international calls and they have no hidden charges or fees whatsoever. Just by signing up for Pingo, you will receive up to 4 hours of free International calls (woww what a great treat!) and you can also receive $15 for each new customer you refer through Pingo’s calling card affiliate program.

Here's a tag a received from Darlene,thanks guapa for always remembering me..muahhh
In this tag, you are to name seven songs that you are currently listening to and tag seven other people.
Oppsss I'm not listening to music right now,so I'll just mention my favorite songs here.
1.No Woman,No Cry
--I'm a Bob Marley fanatic and it's my favorite.I like to listen to the song many times and just dance as I sing the song too, ahehehe.
2.Glory of Love
--I love the meaning of this song and it's one of my faves since then.If i'll get married someday, one of the qualifications is for "my man" to render the song for me.No kidding, ahehehe.
3.La Isla Bonita
--started to like this song during my vacation to Pinas last Nov. and been singing it in every videoke session, infact I already memorized the number in our magicsing, ahehehe and my brother was already irritated with it.Cgehan nlng ko ug binuang, cja nay mo press sa number dajun hatag sa mic, ahehehe. And of course,I always dance while singing or listening to the song.
4.Proud Mary
--an old song and my Papa's favorite. My brother and I learned how to sing the song from Papa and during my vacation, puli2x lng mi kanta ani..We just want to remember our beloved Papa with this song.Amo nlng gi imagine na siya ghapon ang nagkanta..huhuhh
5.Funky Town
--another old song, but I like the rythm and it makes me dance all the time, aheheh. And besides,it's very memorable coz my Mama has rendered a dance presentation with her friends during their teenage years with this song..
6.Torete
--wahhhh I like this song too,but it's the memory related to this song that I cherished the most. This is the song that my brother taught me to sing while he plays the guitar. But too bad and he surrendered after several trials coz I just can't get the tune..ahehehe..the yabag me rules!!aheheheh
7.We will fight
--The last, but definitely not the least.I love this song very much. It's a religious song I learned from my YFC years and I'll always like it coz it expresses my faith and love to GOD.
I still have a lot of fave songs, but I need to write 7 songs only, ahehehe.Another fave of mine is "Red,red wine"...
My dear friends and visitors, just feel free to make this time if you have the time.

Ohhhh my,I was sleeping the entire night without knowing that the door of my apartment was not locked.huhuhu.
I usually double checked my door before going to bed coz I'm not comfortable sleeping without making sure that the door is locked.Sometimes,I would wake up in the middle of the night just to check my door once more..Though our place is safe and havn't hear of any crimes(whatsoever) in the neighborhood, but I still have to play safe.
This morning on my way to my employer's house, I was shocked coz my door was unlocked, grrrrrrrrr.I was not able to check it once more before I went to bed lastnight because I was soooo tired yesterday...
I better double-check tonight and make sure that the door will be locked..hehhehe

My muscle-straining Monday

Hi everyone!!I'm sooooo early today..as in 4 in the morning, hehehe.
Yesterday,I was busy working in my employer's place (I'm always busy on Mondays).I changed the beddings, made a lot of laundry, vacuumed and mopped. And the youngest child stayed home with me coz the kindergarten was close. She was screaming for me to stop vaccuming coz she was watching cartoons and she can't hear, hehehe. But I continued coz I have too..then I scolded her for not saying please and thank you everytime she asks for something...hahayyyyy,that's the thing I really hate about these kids..when they don't say the magic words..it really irritates me...
Good thing and she fall asleep at around 1:30pm.She was so tired and her eyes were already dropping(hehehe) when we ate lunch.I thought she won't be able to finish the bread..so after eating, she went directly to her room and few minutes later,I hear a snoring..heheheh
My female employer and the eldest kid went home very early, around 2:30pm and she told me that I can go down to my apartment already and she'll be the one to make the food.It was her mother's birthday and her parents will come over.Yeheyyyyyy...no cooking for me and I'm glad coz I have the time to go to the city to buy something.
I also volunteered to buy some stuffs in the filipino store (I always shop for them when I go to the city),so my employer gaveme some money for the shopping.
I bought what I needed and then I also bought a lot of things in the filipino store (shrimps, corn, mushroom in can, coco's milk, lumpia wrapper, silver swan patis, oil, sweet chili sauce and many more).I had 2 heavy plastics with me with all the stuffs and the muscle-straning walk begins, huhuhu.
I was walking with the heavy stuffs towards the central station coz I met my bestfriend there.Good thing and I met a friend on the way and she helped me carry the bags. Then I met with my bestfriend and she also helped me carry the bags towards the bus stop.
I took the bus and I walked for more than 30minutes towards my apartment. The walk will usually take me 15 to 20 minutes (depending on my speed). But yesterday,it seems that I was walking for ages, huhuhuh coz I have to stop after several steps coz my muscles were really aching.
So when I came to my apartment,I took some rest. Then I prayed the Holy Rosary and after that I decided to rest for a while before starting ito check my blogs. But I fall asleep and I just woke up few minutes ago..ahehhehe.
So here I am blogging very early after my muscle-straining Monday.
Have a nice day everyone!

My employers went home at 3:30 this morning from the birthday party...wowww it's a little bit early compared to the last one which was 5am...
So I continued sleeping at my apartment and slept til 12 noon,.I was so happy because I received an SMS from by beloved Mother that the blessing of our small eatery had been a success, thanks GOD.Opssss I didn't mention it earlier. Two weeks ago,we started constructing a small eatery in our place. My brother went home from Manila (he's applying for a job in a ship, but he havn't found one yet) to manage the construction of the small, native building since my Mother is taking summer classes in Cebu.
The workers were very efficient and it was done in 2 weeks. My Mother is done with her summer class last May 31 and they decided to open the eatery today,June 3. Hurrahh, thanks GOD and the blessing and the opening was successful and the small business officially starts,.I just hope and pray that it will be a success.
I went to church today for the 6pm Mass. After the Mass,I was strolling Oslo with my friends and I came home at around 10:20pm.I checked my mails and my blogs and also surfing the net for other things..
Got to go to bed now, goodnight everyone!

MMK episode : Bahay-Bahayan
Sunday, June 03, 2007

Yesterday afternoon after eating lunch,I watched an MMK episode,Bahay-Bahayan.It was really a story full of lessons. It was a story of a mother (Eula Valdez) who was a drug addict since her teenage years. She got married and had 3 children and still an addict.Until came a point that her husband left her and the children, accusing her of having an affair with another man.
She was so devastated and so turn to drugs to ease the pain. But her 3 children eventually caught her so wasted the following day and they were so scared about the situation, but they dont know that their Mom is an addict. But later, her daughter(the eldest) found out that she's taking drugs because she told her teacher about what she saw in her mother's room and with what happen to her mom and the teacher says that their Mom is using drugs. She confronted her Mom,but she denied it.
Then the children caught their Mom with another guy in her room, confirming the accusation of their father and it's a family friend who's also an addict. The kids were very upset and they went rebellious towards their mother.
One day,the new guy of their Mom visited them and the 2nd child (a 7-year old boy) was complaining about his problem at school since he's been teased by friends of having no father anymore and his problem about his Mom.The guy urges him to try using drugs and gave him all positive reasons saying that it will make him forget the problems and be happy. So the little boy tried and enjoyed it.The teenager daughter came and was so mad about the guy but then he also convinced the girl to try drugs so as to understand her mother much. The girl also tried and when the mother came, she was so angry to the guy, but the guy explained and when the mother hears her children saying "i love you" to her,she was so happy and from then on,they became users except the youngest boy (about 5 years old).
To make a narration short, they were hunted by the police,so they flee from their big house and transferred to a small apartment. The grandmother of the kids was so upset after learning that her daughter has made the kids took drugs. The mother also pushes drugs to sustain their living until came to a point when her 2nd child almost stubbed her just for her to give him drugs....ohhhh my!!Then one day,she left to buy food for her hungry youngest boy,but she forgot a pack of drugs on the table and when she came home, the boy was already sick..as in bangag na..and she didn't bring the child to the hospital in the fear that she will be caught of giving drugs to her child.
Her daughter came back into her senses after the tragic incident of her youngest brother and decided not to take drugs anymore. She called her granny and the granny took them home...away from their mother. The mother then was so sad and eventually, she was caught by the police. She went to jail and her co-inmates tortured her after knowing that she let her kids use drugs. Then she got very sick and was brought to the hospital and was almost killed by the incident. From that time, she decided to put her life into order for her kids.
So she stayed in a rehabilitation center for 1 year. And then she went home clean.and her kids were already clean too..And they started living a new life.
It was really a heart-breaking story.I can't imagine a mother harming the lives of her children, since the mothers I knew are all concern about the future of their children.Good thing and she was able to fight her addiction for her kids.
Baby Sitting again!

I woke up at 12 noon today since I slept very late.I ate lunch and started sitting in front of my lappy. Then I took a bath at around 4:30pm since I received an SMS from my employer to start baby sitting at 5:30pm instead of 6pm.
Good thing and the kids were not that bad today.Though they went to bed very late (maybe 9pm) since they kept on going down to play, but atleast they didn't give me a very hard time tonight! I continue reading the novel that I started reading lastweek right after Chromosome 6 and it's by Dean Koontz. Then I took my lappy in my apartment when the kids where already asleep. While waiting for the kids to sleep,I also fall asleep in the sofa while reading and when I woke up,I felt so lonely because the house was so quiet and when I looked outside, the surrounding was gloomy.I really felt lonely to the point of crying, but glad that I was able to hold my tears from falling.Am I getting emotional???
So here I am still wide awake.I'm not sleepy yet, maybe coz I woke up very late.My employers are attending a 40th birthday celebration,so I'm pretty sure that they will be home early in the morning, just like before.
So bye for now and have a blessed Sunday everyone!

A man died for singing out of tune

I was reading Yahoo News and this news caught my attention, a deadly news from our very own Philippines.
According to the news, a jobless man was shot dead by a security guard for singing our of tune in a karaoke bar in San Mateo,Manila. Can you imagine that??A very shallow reason to kill someone...It's really disgusting!!
Here's the complete news from Yahoo News:
Romy Baligula, 29, was halfway through his song on Tuesday night in a bar in San Mateo town, east of Manila, when 43-year-old security guard Robilito Ortega yelled that he was out of tune.
As Baligula ignored his comments and continued singing, Ortega pulled out his revolver and shot him in the chest.
Senior Superintendent Felipe Rojas said Baligula died instantly.
The security guard was detained by an off-duty policeman shortly after the shooting.
Deaths and violence are not uncommon in Philippine karaoke bars.
The popular Frank Sinatra song "My Way" has been taken off many karaoke bars in Manila after it was found to be the cause of fights and even deaths when patrons sang out of tune.

Inang Yaya

(Photo grabbed from inangyaya.blogspot.com).Ohhh my!! it’s already 3:47 in the morning here but I’m still awake and crying, huhuhu.I’m just done watching “Inang Yaya”.It’s really a tear-jerking movie. Thanks Macy for the recommendation. If you didn’t mention it to me,I wouldn’t have known about the movie.Good thing and it’s in the list of pinoy movies in the link that I have.
It’s a Unitel Pictures film (just like Crying Ladies) directed by Pablo Biglangawa and Veronica Velasco (also the writer). It’s a story about Yaya Norma (Maricel Soriano) who has been so close to her employer’s daughter Louise (Erika Oreta) since she’s taking care of her since the child’s birth. Yaya has a daughter, Ruby (Tala Santos) and she goes with her mother to Manila and stay in the big house after the death of her grandmother.
Louise is so nice and close to Yaya and sometimes Ruby gets jealous about it. Eventually, the kids became close and they considered themselves bestfriends. Too bad and Louise’s family has to transfer to Singapore and they wanted to take Yaya Norma with them. Yaya has to make a tough decision about who to choose : her employer’s daughter or her own daughter.
And in the end, the story conveys that “blood is thicker than water” as Yaya Norma decides to stay and take care of her own daughter despite her willingness to take care of Louise.
It’s really a nice movie and it made me wish that my employer’s daughters are as kind as Louise. There’s really a big difference between filipino and european kids and the difference makes me decide not to work as an au pair anymore after my contract, hehehe.
Anyways,I’ve been talking to much and sorry about that.If you havn’t seen the movie yet, then I would recommend for you to see it.It’s worth all the tears, hehehe
Learning another language

During my 2-year stay in Denmark as an Au pair, I spent 1 year and 5 months at Hellerup Sprogskole to learn the Danish language. Part of our contract states that Au pairs should go to school to learn the language and culture of the country. My hostfamily followed the rules, thus forcing me to go to school, hehehe.Plus the kis is complaining why I can't speak danish,so it's really necessary for me to learn atleast basic danish. There were 3 levels.Level 1 for students with elementary education from their countries, level 2 for those with high school and undergraduate education and level 3 for those with 4 year course or more. I was enrolled in level 3 with 5 modules.
I went to school starting January 2005 and luckily finished the entire module by June 2006.I received a certificate stating that I can already speak and understand danish, which I didn't show to my hostfamily since my grades were not that impressive, hehehe.I enrolled in the morning class and so I have to go to school 3 times a week,3 hours for every session. The evening class is just 2 times a week,2 hours per session.I volunteered on going to the evening class, but my hostfamily insisted for the morning class, for me to have more time outside the house because they don't want me to get bored. So I agreed coz it means that less work for me in the house, hehehe.
I was the youngest in the class and the only filipina til the 3rd module.Another filipina has joined the class on the 4th module til the 5th.I have classmates from different races (Columbian,French,Austrian,Thailander,Russian,Indian,Italian,Greek,Canadian,Pakistani,German,English, etc) and mostly were married to danish guys.I was able to establish friendship with most of my classmates and glad coz the friendship still exist up to these days.My columbian classmate Carolina is my bestfriend at school and I call her "Mor" (pronounced as Mowa, danish term for mother).

With my "Mor".Taken during my visit last Nov 2006,few days before my vacation to the Philippines.Carolina has given birth on Nov.5 to a cutie baby boy.
Learning another language is for sure difficult and I find it more difficult to learn danish since the written and the oral are completely different. There are a lot of silent words. If the rules are just like the filipino language where you just have to read what's written, then it might be easier for me. But unfortunately, danish language is a complicated one and an example is that D had to pronounce as a soft L most of the time, silent R most of the time, etc. And they have a lot of more vowels than the usual a,e,i,o,u and it's really confusing coz they sound the same to me,hehehe.Let me share to you some danish words:
Danish Word -- English translation -- Pronunciation
Tak -- Thank you -- Tak (it's an easy one)
Mor -- mother -- mo-wa
Far -- father -- fah
mad -- food -- mel (example the soft L "D")
tak for mad -- thanks for the food -- tak foh mel
jeg elsker dig -- i love you -- Ya elska die
jeg savner dig -- i miss you -- Ya sawna die
farvel -- bye2x -- favel
god morgen -- good morning -- go mown

With my classmates during our tour to different historic places in Denmark.

My English,Columbian and Thailander classmates with our teacher Pernille (2nd from right) during our Christmas 2005 gathering.

My classmates and friends (R-L): Samira (French), Arlene (Filipina),Ajanta (Indian).

Yours truly with my Russian (right) and German (middle) classmates.
Despite the difficulty,I managed to finish all modules.I learned the written part of the language pretty fast than the oral part.My hostfamily was very impressed coz I can already write.I used to give them cards during their birthdays using the danish language and my employers were so proud of me that they'll keep on bragging about my progress to their friends. And it makes me scared...scared everytime their friends will visit in thr house coz they talk to me in danish...huhuuhhu..I can understand them pretty well, but it's difficult for me to answer them fluently...My danish is just for kids, heeheh. And too bad coz as I progressed,my employer told me that she will only speak danish with me,huhhuuhhu....
I also learned a lot of the danish culture in the class.I learned more about Christian Andersen, the vikings, danish laws and many more.
I'm glad I took danish class in Denmark because danish and norwegian language are similar. But I find the norwegian language easier coz we just have to read what's written..I mean no more silent R and soft L.The rule is almost the same with the filipino language. So now I'm able to communicate with the kids of my employers here in Norway though I don't go to a norwegian class.
During my visit in DK last weekend, I found out that my danish is deteriorating...a bad news for my danish host family, huhuhuh. But I'll try to refresh my knowledge by reviewing my notes and my danish dictionary.Hope it will help.

Hurrahhh it's friday once again!I had a long, goodnight sleep and woke up at 9 in the morning, since my employer told me yesterday that I don't have to go to their house early because the kids are not home and I don't have to make theur lunchboxes.
I took a bath and started working at around 10:30am.Too bad coz it's raining. It has been raining since Monday. As usual,I did a general cleaning ang glad coz the house is not that dirty.I'm done at around 2pm and then I went down to my apartment and did some cleaning. After cleaning,I chatted with some online friends,I ate dinner and then prayed the Holy Rosary afterwards.
I checked my bank account and glad that my employer has already deposited my salary for the month of May, and I immediately send some money to my mother's account because I owe her some money, hehehe. Thanks to technology and I don't have to go to the bank everytime I send money to the Philippines.I only have to log in to my netbank account and make some clickings and viola!!the transfer is done in minutes..amazing!!
I decided not to go out for the weekend since I'll be babysitting tomorrow at 6pm,so it will be a waste of money if I'll go out tonight and then go back tomorrow afternoon..Fare is pretty expensive here,.And besides,it's raining and I'm not in the mood to go anywhere,.
It's really very lonely and very quiet here....huhuhuh.How I wish I have someone to talk even in chat coz it's really boring.....I need someone to talk with.Ok guys bye for now,I'll try to wander around and look for some chatmates in YM,hehehe.
Goodnight guys and have a great weekend!

I took a nap from around 4:30pm til 8pm.I prayed the Holy Rosary after I woke up and then I continued surfing the net.I also watched another episodes of "Hiram na Mukha" and "Walang Kapalit".And as usual,I'm soooo "kilig",.
My male employer told me this morning that I don't have to go to the house early since the children are not there,so I don't have to make their lunch boxes. So it means that I'm going to wake up late tomorrow and just go to the house when my employers are already out for work. So gotta go to bed now and have a goodnight sleep.
Goodnight everyone!

I watched this movie 2 months ago and I just can’t forget about it. I love the story. It’s very unique and I’m deeply touched by the movie,I shed tears, huhuhuh. It’s a romantic drama directed by Joel Lamangan under Regal Films and an official entry to the 31st Manila Film Festival.
I just can’t forget the undying love of Manuel Pineda (Eddie Garcia) and Corazon (Boots Anson-Roa) as they continue to find each other after being apart for decades. And It made me wish that my love story will be like theirs….true love.
Here’s a summary of the story from wikipedia.com:
The story begins with a man named Manuel Pineda, who is ill and had only has six-months to live, but there is one thing in his life he wanted to do, that is to find Corazon (His love one). Meanwhile Manuel’s son Rod is still mourning to his wife’s death. Also Rod’s son, Kyle, recently left by his girlfriend Peggy.
Manuel starts to find Corazon somewhere in Ilocos but she wasn’t there so his son Rod and Grandson Kyle picks him up in Ilocos but on the way home the car they were in has broken down. Then Manuel tells the story of why he was in Ilocos.
Manuels past starts when he befriends with Domingo, Cora, and Azon (both Cora and Azon also named Corazon). Manuel falls in love with Azon, and Cora has a secret crush on Manuel. Moving on, Azon tells Manuel that her mother wants to move far far away and offers him to come with her and her mother, Manuel declined then Azon gave him a piece of her pendant (which is part of her necklace) and tells him that if the pendant goes back to her necklace their both meant together.
After that Domingo and Manuel joined the army. Later on the war began and Azon tried to say goodbye to Manuel but she catch up with Domingo (who also like’s Azon), Domingo tells Azon that Manuel is in a battle then Azon gave Domingo her address and told him to tell Manuel to find her.
After the battle Domingo and Manuel was captured by the enemies, Domingo was wounded badly that he can’t walk, so he told Manuel to leave without him but before Manuel leaves (which he doesn’t want to) he gave Manuel the address of Azon and told Manuel to find her. After that Manuel survives the war and met Cora (now a nurse) in the hospital. While Cora was taking care of the wounded Manuel, she revealed her feelings for him and they both make love.
After that Cora got pregnant and got married with Manuel. After Cora gave birth to their son she leaves Manuel because she thought Manuel is still in love with Azon. She gave Manuel a half picture of her and if her half picture and his half picture unite again it means they’re both meant to be together.
Back to the present, after Kyle and Rod learned the story, they helped Manuel find Corazon. Will they find Corazon? But which Corazon?
True love happens only once… in a… BLUE MOON…
If you havn't seen this movie, then I'll recommend for you to see it.It's worth the time. You'll surely love the story and be inspired by it.
