During my childhood,it really makes me glad everytime my mother will sew a new set of curtains for our windows and doors. It's really nice seeing curtains of different colors and they give a more lively atmosphere to our house and they make our house lighter.Until now my mother is still the one making and sewing the curtains in the house.But I really wanted to order a ready made set of curtains for our house,but it doesn't mean that I don't like my mother's design,I just want to give her a break because I know that sewing curtains is a difficult job.

I'm back from Denmark!!

Hi everyone!!I'm finally back from my 10-day vacation in Denmark and it's back to work for me.

Thank you very much to all for always visiting despite the absence of new posts.I brought my lappy to Denmark but didn't have much time to blog coz I was busy talking with my cousins all the time..It seems that we havn't seen one another for years and the conversation lasted til dawn in succession..and we end up having headache..hehhhee

I really had a good time in Denmark despite the bad weather.We just stayed in the house most of the time,but those days were never boring with my cousins around...we just kept on talking and of course..eating,our all-time favorite!ahehhehe

Now that I'm back,I'll double-time in blog hopping to make up for my long absence.

Hello from Denmark

Hi everyone!!I'm finally here in Denmark and thanks GOD for the safe travel.
I'm so happy coz I met some friends in the bus.They are also Boholanas who are working as an au pair in Norway and been in Denmark for 2 years.Hurrah,I'm not alone after all.

I sent SMS to my cousin Florrean to confirm if she's really home with Analyn but I didn't receive any reply.So I was worried that she's not home.I took the train to Holte station and then took the bus to my employer's place.I striked the bell once but there was no commotion inside the house,so I went to the back part of the house near my cousin's room (my room before),the black curtain was down ,so I was relieved coz I know that it means that she's inside.So I knocked on the glass window and the dor was open afterwards.And to my surprise,3 of my cousins were waiting for me: Florrean,Analyn and Lisa.Hurrah,I was really so happy and we started chatting as if we havn't seen one another for years,heheheh.

Glad coz the weather is getting hotter now.There was a little bit of rain this morning.I hope the weather will be nice during my stay here so we can roam and goof around.ahehehehe.

Off to Denmark once again

Hi everyone!I hope everything is fine with you.
I'll be leaving for Denmark once again,but this time I'm gonna travel alone,huhuhu.

The bus will leave at 10 in the evening and I'll arrive there at around 7 in the morning tomorrow.I'll really looking forward to see my cousins there.I talked to them just a while ago and Florrean told me that Gitte (my female employer in Denmark) has left some money for me (for my stay there)..Ohhh my,I'm really touched.THey have been so nice to me even if I'm no longer working for them.I'm really close to her and she's like a my 2nd mother (she's the same age as my Mama).

I'll go to the city a little bit early coz I'm going to buy a gift for Veronice since it will be her birthday on the 29th and they will come home from Turkey on the 27th,so I can still attend her birthday party.I'm going back on the 30th.

But I'll be blogging there though coz I'm gonna bring my lappy this time.But I hope I'll have time to blog coz my cousins are already planning for our escapades.We're going to the summerhouse of Analyn's employer which is near the beach and we agreed to wear 2 piece,no matter what others will say..hehhehe.

Fr. Bossi released from captivity

Hurrah!!I'm so happy right now coz I just visited Philippine Inquirer and the headline said that the Italian priest,Fr. Giancaro Bossi, was already released from captivity.Thanks GOD.

According to the report,Bossi was released by rogue Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) commander Khidi in Karumatan town at around 9 p.m.on Thursday (July 20), said Western Mindanao police director Chief Superintendent Jaime Caringal.And Caringal said that there was no ransom money involved.

Fr. Bossi (57 years old)is a member of the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions and has worked in the Philippines since 1980. Appointed parish priest in April, he was a newcomer to the quiet fishing and farming town of Payao, which was considered a safe place for a foreigner. He was abbducted in Payao town, Zamboanga Sibugay province last June 10 on his way to celebrate the Holy Mass.

Pope Benedict XVI welcomed the news with "great joy," said Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi.

Can't wait to go to Denmark to visit my cousins there.For sure,I'll be having a great time with them. The surroundings here in my apartment is very silent since most of the neighbors are on vacation and I just stayed inside for the whole day.Awww I went to my employer's house to get the phone coz I called my family back home, but the conversation lasted for only 20 minutes coz I ran out of calling card..huhuhuh..

Been surfing the net since the afternoon and I'm just done watching pinoy teleseries and now I don't know what to do...maybe stare on the wall???I don't want to sleep yet..ahh maybe I'll watch some TV...

Sometimes,I just don't wanna be alone..huhuhhuu

I'm finally back from Brussels,Belgium

Hi everyone!!I'm finally back from the 9th SFC European Conference in Brussels,Belgium. I really had a wonderful weekend there. The 3 days conference was very empowering.The talks and the sharers were really inspiring.I met old friends in the conference (my bro and sis who attended last year's conference in Paris)and I met new friends too.I also made a lot of bonding sessions with my co-SFCs from Norway.

The theme of the conference was HOPE,that despite the difficulties in life but there's always one true hope and that is our ONE GREAT GOD.

I hope in our ONE GREAT GOD.
The conference started on Friday at 5 in the afternoon and it lasted til 10 in the evening.And we had the amazing race competition before the conference started.I was one of the delegates from Norway for the race and it was really very hot in Brussels and we were so tired coz we have to hurry all the time.But our effort paid-off coz Norway was declared as the winner for the amazing race competition!Hurrah!!

During the T-shirt Design Competition.Ours got the 3rd place.
We also had our dance practice before the conference started and we were glad coz we're going to present the dance on Sunday,during the last talk.So we still had 2 days to practice.And during our practice,I was so shocked coz some members has to stay on the stage during the dance presentation.And I was so unlucky coz I was one of the 5 who has to stay in the stage..Ohh my,I was really nervous because there were a lot of delegates.But glad that it was finally over and the dance presentation went good.So no more worries now,heheheh.

I'm also very happy coz I met a relative in the conference,Tita Didith.She's from Anda,Bohol but she's already in the UK now.THe encounter was really unexpected.I went to the toilet with my friend and we waited coz there was a queue.Then one of the delegates waiting heard us talking in Visayan and she asked us from where we were and we told her Bohol.And she told us that she's also from Bohol and when I looked at her ID,her family name is Amper...just like my middle name.nd so we chatted and digged our roots,heheheh.

We also had fun during the gala night (Saturday night) wherein we have to wear evening gowns.Last conference,the motiff for the gala night was 60's look.And we were so "kilig" coz one of our SFC brother from Brussels,Bro Don, proposed to his GG during the gala night.Ohhh howww romantic!

The conference was officially closed Sunday afternoon and the closing praisefest was very empowering.The Norway contingent in general was very joyful coz we won a lot of awards.We won in the amazing race contest,champion for the food display,the biggest delegation,etc.

One thing we find nice about Belgium is that,the cost of living there is cheaper compared to Norway.We really wished that we had a lot of money during the trip coz it's really cheap there.

We finally had our flight at 7:55 in the evening and arrived at Gardemoen airport at 10 in the evening.I slept at my friend's place coz it was already very late when we arrived in Oslo.And the shocking thing was that, we woke up the following day at 3 in the afternoon!!!Ohhh my we slept for sooo long!!We were really very tired.

Glad to be home once more.And I felt so blessed to be able to attend the 9th SFC EuroCon in Brussels coz I learned a lot and I heard a lot of messages from GOD.

May GOD be praised all the time!

Off to Belgium

Hi Everyone,just want to inform you that I'll be away for 3 days coz I'm finally going to Belgium for the SFC European Conference in Brussels. Some of our SFC brothers and sisters left this morning to have enough time to stroll the Belgian Capital.But our flight will be tomorrow at 7:50 in the morning.

So I'm leaving tonight coz I have to meet my other SFC sisters in the city coz we will be staying in Nanay and Tatay's (the couple coordinator of SFC) who will also go with us tomorrow.

I'm really excited for the conference because I know that GOD has a reason of allowing me to be there.There must be a special message for there and I'm really hoping to see good changes after the conference.

dance practice

Hi everyone!I hope that all of you are well outthere.It's been 2 days that I havn't post new entries here in my blog and the reason is the rigorous dance practice,hehehe.Yepp,I'm dancing and this time it's for real,hehehe.I'm one of the SFC Norway who will dance for the opening of talk # 4 in the conference.I was hesitant at first and the hesitation became so strong when I saw the difficult steps(hiphop dancing),I wanted to go home right away. But what can I do,I was already in there and they need more dancers,so I tried hard to imitate the steps and after 2 nights of practice,we finally made it.Hurrah!!!thanks GOD for that.We finalized the dance steps yesterday night and it's very funny coz the entire dance takes only 3 minutes and it took us 2 nights to practice,heheheh.

We'll be given our final practice in Belgium.So goodluck to me then.I hope I can still concentrate dancing in front of thousands of SFCs:)

A late-night cleaning

I woke up at 10 in the morning yesterday and prepared myself for the cleaning session at my employer's place coz I left for my mini-vacation without cleaning the house. My hostfamily will be coming home this friday and they will just stay home for 2 days and then their going to their parents' summerhouse.So I did clean their house yesterday from 12:30 in the afternoon until 5pm.

And then after cleaning,I took all the cleaning stuff to my apartment coz I also planned of cleaning my own nest.But then when I arrived in my apartment,my uncle working in Thailand was online,so I chatted with him and some of my online friends.So it was already 10pm when the chatting was over.I continued sitting infront of my lappy and decided to start cleaning at around 11pm and finally finished at midnight..whoaaaa what a cleaning session!!heheheh

Then I watched my favorite teleseryes afterwards.I wanted to go to bed early,but I finally went to bed at 4am...very early indeed.heheheh

A delayed flight

Last tuesday,3 days after the farewell party,we drove my bestfriend and 2 of my friends to Oslo airport at around 2pm since their flight was at 5pm. It was soo lucky coz they will be going together in one plane.The duration of the trip was longer since the ticket was cheap.They took Qatar airways and they will have a stop over in London and Doha. We were already at the airport,they fall in line to check-in their luggages,but the attendant told them to wait coz their flight will be delayed. My friend's husband said that the flights were delayed coz there were only few air traffic crew on duty (most were on vacation). Then after about an hour the attendant said that they have to go to the other line for the rebooking of their tickets coz there will be no flights for London that night due to the bombing in London.

We were really sad coz my friends have only a month of vacation and it will be lesser due to the delay.So they transferred to the other line and we waited for about 2 hours before it was finally their turn for the rebooking coz there were a lot of stranded passengers.And I really pity my Best coz she cried when the attendant said that they can no longer travel together coz there's no more slot available for 3 passengers.One will go first and the other 2 will wait for another schedule which they don't know yet.And it was Ate Eves who got the first slot.

Good thing and the attendant found a solution and the 3 will be going in the same plane and their final schedule was on thursday at 7:50 in the morning.Ate Bren's hubby couldn't drive them anymore coz he was working, so Tonet and I went with them to the nearest bus stop and it was very early in the morning,4am.

The following day,we were already talking that our 3 friends were almost arriving in Pinas.But on friday afternoon, we received a news that they were stranded in London due to an abandoned bag that the authorities thought was carrying bomb.So the flights in London were all delayed.We were really worried about them and felt pitty coz their travel took days and their vacation is getting shorter.

Just few hours ago,I received a text message from my Best informing me that they finally arrived in Pinas on Saturday,so their travel took 3 days and it was only this afternoon that they got they baggages coz the baggages were delayed.

Even if they're delayed,I'm still thankful to GOD for giving them a safe trip.

I attended a double-party celebration a week ago, July 30(Saturday). It was a double party coz it's a birthday celebration of one of my friends,Ate Bren.She actually had her birthday last June 19, but celebrated it on a weekend coz she's working during weekdays and so we can attend the celebration.

At the same time, the party it was also a farewell party for 3 of my au pair friends who're coming home to the Philippines for vacation.Actually,one of the 3 is my bestfriend and cousin Bhing and the other 2 are Ate Eves (one of my closest friends since my Denmark days) and Ate Carol.

The party was held in Ate Bren's place.She's a Boholana married to a very kind norwegian guy,Jørn and they have a lovely daughter named Anny Helen.I'm always happy to play with Anny coz she drives me crazy my imitating my "in fairness" expression and her norwegian version of it...."såda",hehhe. She calls us "tante" (norwegian term for Aunt) and so we call her in return as "tante min" which mean "my aunt".We are very thankful to them for opening their home to us and for allowing us to stay in their house during weekends or whenever we wanted to.Thanks a lot Tysnes family for your kindness.

Ate Bren and my other friends prepared the delicious food.I was not able to help a lot coz I came to the place late and I'm not good at cooking,so I settled in washing the dishes,hehehe.I kept on asking Ate Bren if she has other visitors aside from us coz the food that she prepared was simply enormous.I think it's for 20 or more people.Some of the food were escabecheng manok,chicken barbecue,pancit,spring rolls,potato,3 different sauces,norwegian bola-bola and many more.

After the party,there were still a lot of food left and we've been eating the left-over for almost 4 days,hehehe.But the food tastes even more yummier as the days go by.

After eating,we had our singing,dancing and drinking session (as always when we have parties),hehehe.Ate Bren has a magic mic,so we sang our hearts out.

The party became livelier as the drinking session progresses.We've been drinking red wine,white wine and shamrock (like baileys) and the others sipped beer afterwards. I almost got drunk and I was so sorry coz I'm not suppose to drink wine anymore as the doctor advised.It was the first time that I drink wine again since coming here in Norway.Sometimes I'm just soo hard-headed, but no regrets coz I had real fun with my real friends.

After the depression

Hi Everyone!!How are you there?I hope that everyone is doing great!

I miss blogging sooo much and I'm really sorry for being so silent for so long.I know that you've been visiting my blog constantly and I'm really guilty about it. I've been opening my blog everyday,but don't have enough time to writeor I still don't feel like writing,huhuhu. But hurrahhhh and I'm finally back after the depression about my hair.

It was really so childish of me to act weird about my hairbut it's really how I felt. But I'm fine now....no more heartaches whatsoever :). I attended the birthday party of my friend and farewell party of my 3 friends at the same time,and I found comfort from my true friends.My friends whom I see constantly (almost every weekend).They told me that they also felt "sayang" about my hair,but then it's ok since I look nice and younger with my new haircut...hmmmmmmm.Whether it's the truth or just to comfort me,I'm really happy coz my friends are doing something to lift me up,especially my bestfriend who always utter the lines "angayan ka best sa imong hair"...hehehehe

And to all my blogger friends who left messages here to comfort me,thank you very much guys.I really appreciate it and it really helps.Thanks once again.

Another reason why I was not able to post entries lately is because I'm here in my friend's place and I left my lappy in my apartment. I'm here since saturday and planning to go home yesterday,but then changed my mind and decided to stay til sunday, to save money from going back and forth.My 3 friends who had the farewell party also stayed here before their departure,so we take turns in using the computer.

My 3 dear friends left this morning,so I'm here trying to tell stories to you. Coz my friend (the owner of the house) is still asleep with her hubby and her daughter.
