A baby is on the way

My dearest bestfriend, 2yang, got married last December 25, 2006 and I was so lucky to attend her wedding. And to my surprise, she made me her Maid of Honor. I was really honored and sooo glad. I have 2 bestfriends, but 2yang is the original one, since Bhing came when we were already grade 3. 2yang is a Civil Engineer and she's also my maternal cousin. She's really kind and intelligent and she's married to a seafarer. She now works and lives in Cebu. They just transferred to their new house about 2 weeks ago.

Few months after her wedding, she got pregnant and she's been so careful about it coz she's so thin and diagnosed as malnourished. She informed as that her expected delivery date will be on April 10. But around 7pm here, I received a text message from her, informing me that she's already in labor and that it's really so painful. And she asked me to pray for her. I got another text message after about 20 minutes that they're already on their way to the hospital.

I already prayed to God to give my bestfriend a safe and successful delivery and please pray for her too. And I'll keep on praying. I really pity her and I really wish that I can be with her to give support and comfort coz her hubby is still sailing. I know that she's really into a difficult situation. I've already heard a lot of stories that it's difficult being pregnant and delivering without the hubby. And I'm so sad that she experienced both,:(

I am also very excited about her baby. When we were still in high school, we promised that we will be ninangs to each other's child/children,hehehe. So, I'll have another inaanak really soon.
