Feelin' fresh!

I'm really feelin' fresh right now coz I'm just done taking a bath. I took my time in taking a bath and I also applied some scrub to remove the dead cells in my skin and I'm feeling lighter,hehehehe. I already prepared the bag that I'm going to bring to Ate Bren's place, so I'm almost ready to go. Almost coz I haven't decided what to wear yet and I hope that the decision making won't take so long,:) Deciding what to wear is usually the reason of getting late, but I'll try my best not to take much time with it today,:)

I'm going back to my employer's place after this post to start making dinner. Enjoy the rest of the day friends!

Yohoo,I'm finally done with my general cleaning. I'm so glad coz I can now relax a little bit before going back to work. I also cooked some rice for the fried rice that I'm going to make for dinner. I'm also planning to take a bath before going back to work, so I can go directly to Ate Bren's place after my duty.

It's really amazing that almost everything, if not all, you need is already available in the world wide web these days. The net is making people's lives more easy and convenient, but of course, it can also harm lives if used in the wrong way.

Just a while ago, I stumbled into a site that features online house plans. Ohhh my, I never thought that it's impossible coz you need to meet the architect or engineer that will make the planning in person. But I was so wrong because at House Plans and More, you can already buy a house plan online. Amazing, isn't it? And not only that, House Plans and More also sells Home Plans of different styles, be it Bungalow, beach/costal, farm, colonial, country or european home plans or many more. There are a lot of choices to choose from. They even have a Log home plans and I suddenly remember my female employer in Denmark coz she wants this kind of houses. In fact, she has a little log summer house in Sweden. I'll mention this site to her when I visited them one day coz it might interest her to see different kind of house plans in the net.

General cleaning

Today,I'll be doing the general cleaning in my employer's place, instead of the usual Thursday schedule coz tomorrow will be a holiday (Labor Day) and they'll all stay home and I'm free. So my female employer asked me if I can clean today instead. And it sounds good for me coz we are planning to have a grilling outing tomorrow at a lake near Ate Bren's place and Tonet suggested that I go out tonight after my duty. I liked the idea, so my plan is to go there after my duty tonight. I just hope I still have enough energy to move my butt off,hehehe.

Another sleepy day

I was not able to blog here last night for the same reason......I was so sleepy and tired.:( Though I was tired but I didn't take a nap in the afternoon, instead I started watching ANTM Cycle 4, and the end result?? I got aching eyes,huhuhu.

I only had a little work to do in my employer's place yesterday. I made chicken with vegetables and tomato sauce for dinner. And after my duty, I listened to some music and finally dozed off.

And this morning, I just got difficulty getting up,huhuhuh. I had my alarm at 6am, but it was already 6:56am when I got up and I was lte for 5 minutes.:( The weather is still gloomy and I hope it will become nicer and sunny tomorrow until the weekend.

Sleepy head(s)

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well and I hope you had a nice Monday. I had a very tiring one, that's why I haven't blog here yesterday. I got difficulty getting up yesterday. My mind is very active, but my body is so weak. When my employers went down, they also had the same complain......they were also very tired. I'm not alone indeed,hehehe.

I walked the eldest child to school and after arriving from school, I went up to the youngest child's room and I took a nap that lasted until 11am,hehehe, and started cleaning. I made noodles for dinner and they all liked it and no left over at all,:)

After my duty, I just sit in front of lappy and decided not to exercise coz I was really so tired. I got visitors around 7pm. It's best and my friend,Tonet. I was so glad that they came by. It was sort of an answered prayer coz I've been wanting to talk to best for a long time. Glad and she opened up first.

I went to bed early and this morning, I still find difficulty in getting up. But at least I'm not that tired as yesterday. My employers said that maybe it's because of the weather coz it's gloomy. They are also feeling tired today.

I hope we'll all feel better tomorrow,:)

A new source of extra income

Before finally going to sleep, let me talk about BloggersReview first. It's a new site that I discovered upon a recommendation of a co-blogger and I'm glad she introduced me into it coz it's a new source of income for me,hehehe. An amazing Sunday

Hi everyone! I am back here in my apartment and I came home late (around 10:30pm) coz the CLS ended late, but I'm not complaining at all coz I am very happy and I felt so light with all the talks and the worship that I experienced. And right now, I am feeling high...feeling high with gladness on the goodness of God. He is indeed so kind to me despite my sinfulness. I was a little bit shocked during the worship coz I discovered something amazing. I've been praying for it for so long...for years...but it was only tonight that I actually experienced it..And I was really in awe!!I just hope that it will be the beginning of something that I've been praying and longing for.....ability to exercise one of the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit.

I'm sorry for those who think that this topic is boring, but I just can't keep my gladness deep within. I want to share it to you, though not in details. May God be praised all the time! Have a good night sleep everyone and hope you had a blessed Sunday too!

Hurrah!I'm so glad coz I was able to exercise today and yesterday and I really feel good after sweating a lot. I combined walking, jogging and jumping rope as my exercise and I just hope I can continue this to finally get rid of my "bilbil",hehehe. Anyways, I'm going to bed very soon coz it's already 23:44pm here. I need to sleep early (yep, 12 midnight is still early for me,hehehe) coz I'm going to work at my "kuskos" tomorrow. Another busy day for me. And then, I'll go to Church afterwards to attend the CLS and the teaching. I just hope my 3 friends will finally say yes to God's call and attend the CLS.

Super clean....

I am so happy coz I'm finally done cleaning my apartment, it's super clean now,hehehe. Before, I usually clean my apartment after coming from the weekend, but I changed my mind. I decided to clean my apartment before leaving for the weekend, so it will be nice to come back to a clean apartment,:) And I'm going to the cleaning on Thursdays, but if I'm not going out for the weekend, then I'm going to do it on Fridays or Saturdays.

I'll be walking at 7pm, so I still have 10 minutes left to blog,hehehe. Have a nice evening everyone!

Done with the general cleaning!

Hurrah!!I'm finally done with my general cleaning today. It took me about 3 and 1/2 hours to do it,hmmm I'm pretty fast today,hehehe. I am here in my apartment now, taking a little break before picking up the youngest child from the kindergarten. The mother went to work with the bicycle, so she asked me to pick up the kid. I'm going to take the bus and I'll leave a little bit early so I can still make food when we come home. Anyways, I'll just heat some ready made food for dinner coz it will only be the mother, the youngest child and me for dinner. The father and the eldest kid will be attending a school activity.

I'm talking about my dear brother and the BDU Pants I saw at LA Police gear site. My brother likes hippy and rugged style of clothing and every time I see clothes with such taste, I always remember him. I'll be chatting with him tonight and I'll tell him to visit the site and see the pants himself. For sure, he will like it,:)

Sharing the burden....

Hi everyone! I'm glad I finally got the courage to blog here. I haven't blog here yesterday night coz I was into a serious conversation over the net. As I've shared to you in my earlier posts, I'm facing a personal problem that I can't and I don't want to share to anyone coz I think it's a shame. But the burden is already very heavy and I just can't handle it anymore. So, I decided to share it to my online friend who is a priest, Fr. Raymund (whom I also consider my spiritual adviser,:)), and my big sissy, Ate Gagiers. After talking to them, I felt that some of the burden was unloaded and I felt lighter now. Thanks God for giving me the courage to share it to them.

But right now, the problem is still bugging me, but atleast I already know what to do. It's really dragging my energy down. I'm glad I'm able to pull back myself a little bit today. I hope I can recover from it very soon.

My Wednesday went fine and I was so relax in my employer's place. But tomorrow will be a busy day for me coz it's a general cleaning day. I hope you are having a good day friends.

The monday that was....

Hi everyone! I'm so happy that I'm able to force myself to blog today,:) Yes, I felt so lazy to blog yesterday. Though my day at my employer's place went so fine coz there's nothing much to do, but I was depressed and my energy was so low yesterday. I blogged about the uplifting Sunday that I had. It's true, I was inspired, but there's a certain aspect in myself that's confused and depressed,:( Just can't talk about the details coz it's so personal. I didn't even share it to anyone. I just can't, I'm not ready yet.

Anyways, the weather is so nice today, as well as yesterday and my female employer told me that I should enjoy it coz it will only last until Thursday,nahhh, how disappointing! I'm just done washing the wooden table and chairs that we're going to put into the veranda once they're already dry. And I'm also starting to watch ANTM Cycle 3. Though I already knew the winner coz I was able to follow the episode in DK, but still, I wanted to watch the entire Cycle,hehehe.

An uplifting Sunday

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a blessed Sunday! I'm already here in my apartment and I arrived here around 9pm. It was already a little bit late than the usual "uwian" time coz I had a good time talking to Nanay A, the SFC coordintor, at their place.

I went to Ate Bren's place yesterday (after my kuskos) to attend the joint birthday celebration of Ella and Celyn. It was a lot of fun. They went to the disco afterwards, but I didn't go with them and decided to sleep instead to make up for the long sleepless hours,:)

I attended the 9:30am Mass this morning and went to Nanay A's place afterwards for the joint Household at 1pm at their place. Nanay A will handle us temporarily since our HH leader got married recently and already transferred to Couples for Christ. The HH that we had at Nanay's place was really a nice one. We got to know one another deeper as we shared our traits and experiences in lives and shared the lessons we've learned from our experiences. After the HH, most of the sisters left immediately to go to the 6pm Mass. My other sister, R, and I were left at Nanay A's place since we already took the morning Mass. We had a talk with Nanay A and she shared to us her experiences. Grabehhh, I just can't believe how patient Nanay is. She has never quarreled with Tatay B since they were still gf-bf and never controlled Tatay, even once. At nasabi namin talaga ni sis R na di namin kaya ang patience ni Nanay,hehehe. Grabeee, Nanay is really inspirational and I really learned a lot from her sharing. Natauhan ako bigla kung paano na ako nakikialam at ng control sa buhay ng bf ko,huhuhuh. I'm really bad, but I'll do my best to change. Kaya gusto ko na tuloy palagi tumambay sa bahay nila Nanay to learn a lot of things. Kaya ang end result, napasarap ang aming kuwentohan at 8pm na kami umalis. Marami pa nga sana kaming pag uusapan, kaya ng medyo gabi na at mas malayo pa ang uuwian ni sis R, kaya umuwi na talaga kami. I'm really hoping to hear more sharing from Nanay. This coming weekend, we'll have our CLS and I just hope that I can invite at least 1 to join the community.

I'm still up, hungry and ANTM Cycle 2...

It's already 5:54 in the morning here and I'm still awake since 1:50am. And I am soo hungry right now coz I went to sleep at 5pm without eating at all,:( I'm going to prepare something to eat and get ready. Hmmm, maybe I'll start cleaning the apartment now coz I have to go to my other extra job at around 8am, so sleeping is not a good idea anymore,hehehe.

Anyways, I'm done watching America's Next Top Model Cycle 2 and I am disappointed with the result. I want Mercedes to win the title, but it was Yoanna who got it.:( And I was not pleased that Shandi was eliminated. I want her to be in the top 2 with Mercedes.

Almost 9 hours of sleep

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing fine! I just woke up from my almost 9 hours of sleep,:) Yesterday, I went to my extra job and worked there for 4 hours, then I also dropped by the store to buy somethings. And then, walked back to my apartment. I arrived at around 5pm and I was soo tired. And after arranging what I bought, I went to bed to take a nap at 5pm, but then the nap turned into a longgg sleep coz I just woke up at around 1:50am here. So it's already Saturday!hehehe. But I'm so happy coz I got a long sleep, I just need it to badly to compensate for the days that I had a very short sleep.

Anyways, I stumbled into another site that sells prepaid phone cards the other day, but I only had the chance to blog about it today. I already checked the site and found a lot of available cards that can be used in calling the Philippines. And the $5 card has more calling time compared to the other site that I found that I blogged about earlier. My arms are also aching

Yes, I'm not only having back ache from the raking of the dried leaves outside yesterday, I'm have muscle pain too in my arms. Plus, I had a general cleaning today and I also applied oil to the wooden floor, so I was really exerting a lot of force. I am really feeling the pain right now,grrrrrrrrr! How I wish I'm home, so I can ask Mama to massage me a little bit. I missed my Mother coz I can always make "lambing" to her and ask for a massage. Hayyyyy, the downside of working away from home,:(

Remembering my nieces

Before I went back to work at 3pm, I stumbled into Best Price Toys site and I instantly remember my nieces in the Philippines while watching all the toys. Just last day, while I was raking the dried leaves outside (where the children's playground is located), I told myself that I'm also going to have a playground in my future house,:) And meanwhile, I'm going to insist to my brother that he puts up a small playground in the house now for my nieces and I hope that he'll take my advice. Yesss!!I'm so relieved coz I'm finally done with my general cleaning today,:) Actually, I was done already done at around 12 noon, but I only blogged this moment coz I was so busy watching America's Next Top Model Cycle 1 at YouTube,hehehe. I really love watching ANTM. And still waiting for the episode 9 of the Cycle 10 and been waiting for almost a week now!I'm becoming impatient now,grrrrrrr!

New car

Nope, it's not me who got a new car,hehehe. But it's Ate Brenda and her family. Ate Brenda is also a Boholana and she's married to a Norwegian guy. They've a pretty and bubbly daughter, Anny, and we are really like her a lot. I knew Ate Bren few months after I arrived here in Oslo and I really find her very nice. And since then, been spending most of the weekends at her place. As you can observe, I've been mentioning her name most of the time here, especially during weekends,:)

Anyways, Ate Bren's family got a new car. Her hubby got into a car accident while driving to Germany for a football match, thanks God and nothing serious happens. But they brought the car to the shop for fixing, but later on, they've decided to buy a new one. I also got to see their new car before they finally decide to buy it coz her hubby brought the car to their apartment and asked Ate Bren to go down and see it for herself. We also went down with her,hehehe. The car was really nice and it looks brand new. Yep, they've decided to buy a second hand car, which is a practical idea since it'a not so expensive and the car is pretty new. Her hubby was already looking for sites selling used cars in the net for months and finally they've already found the car that they really want.

Last weekend, they got their new car after all the paper works were done. They went away for a weekend getaway to a place outside the city ( just can't remember the name) and Ate Bren called me and invited me to come with them. I really wanted to go, but can't coz it was also the time that I have to help my host family for their party last Saturday. I just hope I can go with them the next time they'll go for a weekend getaway and get the chance to have joyride with their new car,:)

I'm done raking outside

Yesss!I'm so relieved after raking the dried leaves outside. It took me more than an hour to finish it and I'm not so fun of doing it coz it gives me muscle ache in my arms and "gipal otan" pod ahong kamot,huhuhu. But it's ok coz the weather is nice and I got to breath fresh air while working outside.:) My male employer has already asked me about raking the dried leaves outside last week and he want it done this week if I have the time. I was already planning of doing it this week. I could have done it yesterday if the weather was good. But it was cloudy and a little bit windy. So today is really the perfect day for the raking and I'm so glad that I'm done with it,:)

My female employer told me this morning that she might ask me to pick up the eldest kid from school coz she might do something this afternoon. But she called me around 3:15pm and informed me that she'll be picking up the child coz she has the time to do it. Hmmm, I'm really lucky today coz I don't feel like walking,hehehe. I just wanna stay here in my apartment and do more blogging, surfing and watching videos,:)

I've already spend a lot of money in buying phone cards in calling my family back home. And my friends share the same experience. But despite the expensive card rate, we kept on buying phone cards because we love calling our family.

Months ago, I discovered a site where I can buy a calling time using my mobile in calling my family. Though I like it since I can call my family anytime without going to the store in the city to buy a phone card, but it's still expensive, the $10 calling time is just about 30 minutes or less. I tried buying a calling time in another online calling company and their signal is not good. I was yelling all the time coz my mother can't hear me clearly. So I didn't order from that company anymore.

And just this afternoon as I was surfing, I stumbled into a site that sells online phone cards that you can use in calling anywhere in the world. So, I immediately check the site and searched for cards available in calling Philippines. There are more than a hundred types of cards that are available in calling Pinas and I minimum price of card available is at $5 for 75 minutes in calling a Philippine mobile phone. This is really a great find for me today. So glad that I stumbled into this site and I will definitely try it this week coz I'm planning to call my mother, so we can talk about the land that we're going to buy.

She's still sick

My female employer is still sick today, poor her! So she's still staying home and I have my off once again. But I'm not happy though,:) I'm guilty coz I'm not working that much and they're paying me for the whole month. I hope she'll feel better tomorrow, so she can work already. I walked the eldest child to school and asked her if her mother is working today. And she said yes, so when I came back from school, I went directly here in my apartment to change my shoes. But after a few minutes, I heard someone walking upstairs, so I went there immediately and saw my female employer and realized that she's not working still.

Anyways, I haven't blog here last night coz I went to bed early, around 9:30pm. I spent about 10 hours in the computer yesterday doing blogging, surfing, watching videos and looking for jobs,:) and my eyes were already aching. So last night, though I still want to blog after eating dinner, but my eyes were already giving up, so I decided to just sleep and take a break. I'm glad coz I woke up fresh this morning.

I hope the scale is right!

I'm really hoping that the weighing scale of my female employer is telling me the truth,hehehe. Before I finally came down to my apartment, I was on the 2nd floor of my employer's place, folding the dry clothes and putting them to the closet. I also cleaned the toilets upstairs. The weighing scale of my employer is on the small toilet upstairs and I've been weighing myself several times a day, just to remind me of my weight,hehehe. When I'm just fresh from the weekend, it's usually 54 kg. and on other days, 53 kg.

Before coming down here in my apartment, I hop in unto the weighing scale and the result says : 52 kg. Nahhhh, I just hope the scale is not malfunctioning,:) I am really happy with the result and it's some sort of motivation for me to be very careful with what I eat and to exercise regularly with my jump rope,:)

Anyways, I've been surfing for diet pills once again coz I'm really desperate to get rid of my bulging tummy. The detox pills that I took months ago didn't really work. It may cleansed me inside, but my weight is still the same,:( One of the newest slimming pills in the market today is Orovo and I've been reading a lot of good reviews about it, but there are bad reviews too. And Orovo is not just a slimming pills, but it's also an income oppurtunity coz you'll earn some bucks when you refer your friends to also try it. Just visit their site for more info about it.

I'm already off for today

I've been here in my apartment since 9:30am and I'm already off from work, lucky me!hehehe. My female employer is sick today, so she decided to stay home. She thought that it was the after effect of the party since she's not feeling so well since yesterday. But she said that she's really sick today and it has nothing to do with the party after effect.

Anyways, I walked the child to the school this morning, and when I came back, I started tidying up the in the house while my employer delivered the youngest child to the kindergarten. She arrived and I was almost done. I put some laundry in the washing machine and told her that I'll just come back to hang them up. But she said that she can do it and I don't have to come back coz she want to sleep and she don't want any disturbance. I don't have to prepare dinner too since the eldest child will go to birthday party, and she'll just make something for her and the other kid. I hope she'll get well very soon coz it will be difficult for her taking care of children especially that her hubby is away. My male employer went to New York yesterday for a business trip and will be back on Thursday.

So I'm off for today. Hoping to spend the rest of my time wisely.:) Happy Tuesday everyone!

I need a printer

I've been planning to buy a printer since Christmas last year as I saw a lot of printers on sale. But I was having a second thought about it though coz printer is pretty heavy and It would be difficult for me to carry and bring it to my apartment. And another thing is the shipping of the printer when my contract here in Norway is finish. But I really have to think about it once again coz I really need a printer so badly these days. I am planning of submitting job applications to the different embassies here in the hope of finding a job and staying longer here in Norway. And I need a printer to print all the necessary documents needed, as well as scan the papers.

But I have other options though. My employers has an old printer that they're not using anymore. So, I can try to ask them if I can use it and I'll just buy a printer cartridges for it. Another option is to ask Ate Brenda if I can use her printer ink. She has a printer at home, but she's not currently using it coz it ran out of ink. If she'll agree, then I can buy an ink for her printer ink. But the only downside is that, I can't print immediately since her house is far from here, so I still have to wait for the weekend before I can use her printer ink. So maybe, the greatest idea of all is to ask my employers if I can use their old printer. I will think about it thoroughly and make a move very soon.

I have to sleep very soon

It's already 1:20am here and I'm still wide awake. But my eyes are already aching, so I really have to sleep very soon. I still have to work at 7am tomorrow. Few more assignments and I'm done for tonight, awww today. Whatever!hehehe. All I want is to finish all the pending tasks and have a good night sleep. So just bare with me for a while friends.:)

Securing the house

My employers are planning to put a fence between their house and the newly built houses on the right side of their place. The houses are almost done and the nearest house is really very close to the stairway to my apartment. As my employer mentioned about fencing, I instantly remember the plan of my dear brother to also build a fence around our house in the Philippines. It's actually my idea when I was still in Denmark, and I just forced him into it, hehehe. Anyways, the house is already his, so he really have to do it. Good thing and he followed my advice. Estate Fencing is really important nowadays, especially in our village since there are already a lot of strangers coming to our place and crimes are occurring more often. I want the fencing of our house done as soon as possible for the safety of my family. Hopefully, the fencing will start this May or June and it will only take 1 month since my brother has already contacted the workers.

On a totally related topic, I stumbled into Stonebank Ironcraft as I was surfing this afternoon. It's a UK-based company that specializes in making and installing continuous welded estate fencing, decorative railings and Pergolas. Its been in the industry of making high quality garden and estate ironwork for over 30 years now. I spent several minutes checking out the site coz I had fun viewing all the photos of different Garden Ironwork and I was stuck at the photos of the Gazebos as I wished to have one at our house in the Philippines in the near future. Mama will surely love the idea, especially if she'll also see the photos.

Just woke up

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a nice Monday at work. Mine was a nice one too. But yes, I just woke up from sleep and it's still 10:30 in the evening here.:)

I was doing a lot of things in my employer's place today since the house is dirty after the party. I changed the beddings, vacuum all over and mop the floor manually coz it was really very dirty. And tomorrow, I'm going to oil it. I was done working around 12noon and went down here in my apartment for relaxation. But the relaxation time was spent in surfing and blogging. Only 30 minutes were spent in napping. I overslept for 10 minutes coz I was really very tired since I also went to sleep late last night,:(

I started working again at 3pm and made chicken afritada for dinner. I was done at work at around 7:30pm and continued blogging ans looking for assignments.:) My eyes were already aching and at exactly 8:30 pm, I decided to take a nap for an hour and then wake up to continue completing my pending tasks. But at the alarm ringed at 9:30pm, I just can't pull up myself from bed. The alarm continued ringing every 10 minutes until 10:20pm and I finally got the courage to get up,:)

Finally I'm up and thanks coz I'm not that tired anymore. I'll just do my pending tasks and I'll go back to sleep. The other assignments has to wait until tomorrow,:) Have a nice evening everyone!

I'll be gardening very soon

I'm already done cleaning in my employer's place and I'm already here in my apartment, taking a break. I am so happy today because the weather is so nice. The sun is shining and it's not that cold outside anymore. It just means that summer is coming very soon and it also means that I'll be gardening soon.:) I'll be doing gardening work in the flower beds of my employer and I'm so excited about it since I love gardening and planting flowers ever since.

My female employer has already reminded me about the gardening work last week and informed me that she already put the Garden Ornaments that we usually use during summer in the stock room near my apartment. They have 2 flower beds and a lot of empty flower pots, so I'm planning to plant a lot of flowers this time. Last year, I only took care of the roses that my female employer has already planted before. But I think those roses are already very old and they don't look so good anymore, so I'll suggest for her to buy new flowers. Maybe dahlia or other flowers, but not roses anymore for a change.:) My female employer has started pulling out the Home Decors that are only intended for summer time. In fact, she already displayed some during the party last Saturday.

I'm back in my apartment

Hi everyone! I hope you all have a blessed Sunday. Mine was great,:) Anyways, I just got back here in my apartment about 40 minutes ago. It's a long Sunday for me,:)

This morning, I got difficulty getting up coz I fall asleep around 3:30am coz of the noise upstairs . I put the alarm at 6:30am, but I end up preparing myself at around 7:30am. I had plenty of time, but I was late for about 10-15 minutes at the Mass coz I kept on changing my outfit, just can't decide what to wear. I was really mad at myself coz I've been having this behavior for a long time already. I have been late a lot of times due to this problem and I really want to get rid of it.

Anyways, I went to Ate Bren's place after the Mass with Lisa. I already blogged about it in my earlier post. I'm supposed to meet my cousin, Florean, at the central station at around 3:40pm to get my anti-radiation glasses, but I changed my mind and decided to get it after her meeting with the prospective host family. So I left Ate Bren's place around 5:30pm and took the tram to the City to go to Peppe's Pizza to attend the fellowship of my SFC Household. Our gathering went well and we had some open forum since it will be our last time to gather as an HH before the reshuffle and our HH leader will be crossing-over to CFC as a young couple.

My cousin was already calling me that she's already at the central station and we're not done yet with the open forum. So when we were done, I asked them that I'll go ahead to meet my cousin. So I was running so fast to catch the tram and be at Oslo central station. I was already there and got difficulty finding my cousin and can't call her coz I ran out of load,huhuhu. Finally I saw here and we talked. The airport train was already there, but I didn't know that it's her train already. So we kept on talking and she finally said that she'll take the train and said goodbye, but the doors were already closed, she missed the train and the next one will be coming in 10 minutes. So we waited and I was already scared that she'll miss her flight coz she'll be arriving in the airport at 9:35pm and her flight is at 10:30pm.

I took the bus home and was really worried about my cousin and really guilty for letting her wait for me for so long. If she'll miss the plane,then it's surely my fault. I really kept on praying to God so she can make it. And right after arriving here in my apartment, I immediately load up my phone and tried to call her mobile, and it's already unattended. I was relieved coz it means that she's already inside the plane and all mobiles were already switched off since it was already about 10:26pm when I called. I will dial her phone once again at around 11:30pm to make sure that she's already in DK.

I realized a lot of things on my way home tonight. The street lights were off,so the road is dark, but I wasn't scared coz I know that God is always guiding me. I am so thankful to God for a blessed Sunday. May God be praised at all times.!

Alone in here

Happy Sunday everyone! I am indeed alone here in Ate Bren's place. I came here with my cousin, Lisa, after the 9:30am Mass. Ate Bren and her family wen to a place outside Oslo last Friday and they'll be coming back this afternoon. Lisa already left a while ago coz she has to attend the birthday party of her alaga. So I'm all alone here, waiting for my time to go to Oslo to meet my cousin Florean. She's working in DK and will come here to meet a host family since she'll be transferring here in Norway very soon. I just hope she'll be hired.

The dancing begins....

......yeps, the dancing upstairs had already began about 20 minutes after writing my last post, and the noise is louder now as their shoes hit the floor. I can clearly hear it from here. Hayyyy, it's already 12:57am and I am still wide awake,:(

Anyways, I am already here in my bed ready to sleep,:) I am sitting and putting the pillow at my back as a cushion against the wall. I've been doing this every day and every night for months now and my back has been aching from this practice.:( I'm really worried that the pain in my back gets worse if I'll continue this practice and to the point that I'll be needing a posture corrector in the future. Heaven forbids, but I loathe the idea, so I better be very careful and try to stop this practice. I have to go back to my original place in blogging and surfing, which is the dining table in the living room of my apartment coz there, I sit straight and I don't feel pain at my back.

I'm back and tasted Bacalau for the first time

Hi everyone, I'm back here in my apartment and I've been helping my host family for 4 hours and a half. The party isn't over yet, but I'm already done cleaning the mess and the kitchen, so I'm free to go. They were already a little bit tipsy when I left and they haven't started dancing yet. They were still talking out loud at the dining table, hehehe.

My female employer made good food and I was impressed, as well as the guests. The main course is Bacalau, a traditional Portuguese dish and the main ingredient is salted cod fish. Just read more about Bacalau here. It was really good and my female employer haven't made it for 8 years. And she made fried pineapple with vanilla ice cream and chocolate toppings for dessert. She was really hesitant coz she's not fun of making dessert and it was her first time to do it. She just followed the instructions in the recipe book, but it turned out really good. I also loved it, as well as the guests. Anyways, there were only 8 guests (4 couples) plus my 2 employers, so 10 people all in all.:)

It was very funny coz my employers keep on thanking me for my help. Every time they come near me, they keep on saying thank you,hehehe. I'm really satisfied with my work tonight and I'm so happy that my employers are satisfied and happy too. But I'm not sure If I can sleep very soon coz I can clearly hear the talking, walking and dragging of chairs upstairs,:(

It's 6:30 pm...

My female employer has already sent me a text message informing me that I should be there in their house at 6:30pm to help them since guests will be coming. And my male employer told me yesterday that they'll be having 10 guests, so I was wrong when I blogged earlier that their will be 6 guests. Sorry about it, I didn't hear it clearly for sure,:)

I just hope that I can be back here not so late coz I have to sleep early tonight coz I'm going to attend the 9:30am Mass tomorrow at St. Joseph and I don't want to feel tired tomorrow. So I have to get some good sleep. Anyways, I still have 30 minutes to enjoy my electronics gadgets here before finally working,:) I will drop you a note after working, so talk to you later friends! Got to get ready for now!

Some beauty tips

I'm so glad coz I'm done cleaning my apartment and I already took a bath too,:) But I still have the same feeling that I wanted to do something, but just can't figure it out. Anyways, I am surfing right now for beauty tips because I haven't done it for a long time. I need some of those aside from just blogging and sitting in front of lappy,hehehe. I'll also look for the best acne treatment available in the market today, or any tips related to pimples or acne, just in case some of my friends will be asking me about it coz we've been having pimples lately, and that also includes me,:(

Don't know what to do...

Hi everyone! I hope that you are all enjoying your Saturday. Me, I'm still here in my apartment and I really don't know what to do,:( I slept late last night (3am) coz I watched Vantage Point, it was really a very nice movie, I love it!I'll make a separate post about it. And then, I woke up at around 11am and started checking my email and surfed the net for different things. I also watched some Pinoy TV series. But I really felt inside that I wanted to do something else, I just can't figure out what it is,huhuhu.

I'm not really in the mood of writing here, but I just force myself, so I can have something to do. Hayyy, I really don't know what's happening with me. I already did some arrangement in my apartment and I'll force myself to clean here a bit, at least, I'll have some accomplishment for today.

I'll also wait for a text message from my host family about the time that I should go to their house to help them in serving their guests. For now, I'll try to listen to some Visayan music (bisrock) and try to enjoy. I'm going to take a bath too,:)

New exercise companion

Let me share to you something,:) I got a new exercise companion a week ago and it's an old jump rope,:) The eldest child of my employer was playing with her jump ropes (new and old) last Friday and I joined her in playing and I was using the old one. I asked the kid if I can borrow it because I want to exercise using it everyday to get rid with of bulging tummy,:) Good thing and she understood what I mean with my staggering norsk,:) And she allowed me to borrow it and she even told her father that I borrowed it,:) I already started using it and I'm trying to have at least 100 jumps with it. And so far, so good. I always feel great every time I'm doing the jumping rope. Hmmm, maybe next time, I'm going to ask the kid if they have gym mats, so I can also borrow one so I can make more floor exercises. Every time I exercise here in my apartment, I want to make exercises that will require me to lie on the floor, but I always end up not doing it coz the floor is cold and I don't have a blanket or something to protect my back from it.

Anyways, in my hope of acquiring a gym mat or the like that I can use while exercising, I tried surfing for the topic and stumbled at Mancino, an online store that specializes in gym mats and custom padding. It's Friday once again!

Ohhh my, time really flies so fast and it's suddenly Friday and I'm happy coz it means : no work for 2 days,hehehe.

Anyways, I just got back from my kuskos for 4 hours. I also shopped at the store nearby for some things and food here in my apartment. The stuffs were heavy as usual, so I kept on stopping to have some rest. I finally arrived here after 1 hour and 30 minutes,hehehe. I didn't hurry this time and took long time in looking at the stuffs in the store, just allowing my eyes to enjoy,hehehe.

Men's fashion this time

Yesterday, I had a ladies fashion trip in my blog surfing and I had fun with it. I'm still checking fashion sites, but it's men's fashion this time, to represent my dear brother,hehehe.

Though my brother is already in Denmark, but I still have to buy something for him. I'm not going to include the stuffs for him in the balikbayan box that I'll be sending to Pinas, but I'll be handing it to him personally this coming summer. Yes, my dear brother is coming here in Norway for a visit this summer and he's also going to renew his passport at the Philippine Embassy in Oslo. Anyways, I'm checking Sunspel England right now, an online store exclusively for men. They have a lot men stuffs such as T-shirts, sleepwear, Mens Underwear, gift boxes for men and more. I originally thought of buying dear brother Polo Shirts, but after our conversation last night, I changed my mind. He told me that he already has a lot of shirts now coz he's male employer has been giving him a lot of his old clothes, but they still look new and are also branded. Lucky him!

Maybe, I'll just buy my dear brother some Boxer Shorts for a change,hehehe. He's into briefs since his childhood years, so giving him boxer shorts will surely be a good laugh too, hehehe. Saturday party

This Saturday, I'm going to help my host family in serving because they'll have a party at their place and they'll have 6 visitors (3 couples). I don't really know the exact reason for the party, but maybe it has something to do with their 7th wedding anniversary.

My female employer came home with some things for the party. She bought a kind of fish that will be served this Saturday. She said she's going to make a Portuguese food. Hmmm, sounds exciting. She also bought some canned sauce. She also told me to prepare the Table linen for the party. Actually, she has a lot of table linens for special occasion. She's going to choose one from her collection as well as the cloth table napkins and I'm going to iron them tomorrow. I'm excited for the party coz I want to taste the Portuguese food that she'll be making, hehehe. Anyways, I'm not going to stay late coz once they're done with dinner, I can already go back to my apartment after cleaning up.

A very hectic Thursday

Thanks God and I'm done with work early today, around 5pm. But I really had a very hectic day at my employer's place.

This morning, I didn't walk the eldest child to school, but the female employer told me that the youngest child will stay home with me coz she's a little bit sick . So it means that I have to do a little bit of everything, according to my male employer,:) I have to do the general cleaning at take care of the child at the same time. And I should not allow the child to watch TV all the time.

So after they left for work, the child asked me for the english terms of different norwegian words. Then at 9am, I started cleaning upstairs and she started watching Peter Pan film. I already told her that we're going out to play in the garden after I'm done cleaning upstairs. It took me 2 hours to clean upstairs, but we didn't go out directly coz she wanted to finish the film. After the film, we went to the garden to play and we also took our jump rope with us. We played at the "duyanan" and played "dakop2x" too,hehehe. We also went for a walk at the lake at played a little bit at the playground of her classmate's house.

We ate lunch after our walk and after eating, I continued cleaning downstairs and I told her to go upstairs and play. Good thing and she obeyed and after cleaning downstairs, I ironed the clothes. I was done at about 2pm. I went down and took a nap for about 20 minutes at the sofa. I was really very tired and then the child came to my side telling me that she wanted to go out. So we went bicycling outside for about 30 minutes, then we went back and I started making dinner, friend rice. And she was playing upstairs.

Today has been the busiest day of my au pair job in Norway so far,hehehe. But I'm not complaining. In fact, I'm glad coz the child behaved very well and we did a lot of talking and she already listen to me, not like before. Despite my busy schedule, but I'm happy and satisfied. Thanks God!

On home and interior designs....

I just love reading magazines about home and interior designs coz every time I look at the pictures, my dream house is automatically drawn into my mind,:) Any articles featuring homes and interior design really interest me. Every morning, I'll pick up the newspapers form the mailbox and it would be me who will first read and view it since my employers are still upstairs fixing their selves. And my favorite sections of the newspaper is the job and houses for sale sections. One time, my employer saw me looking at the houses and jokingly asked me if I'm planning to buy a house, hehehe. And every time I babysit for the neighbor, I always read the home and interior design magazines that they have in their mag shelf.

Glad and I don't have to buy a magazine just to read about home and interior designs coz there are already a lot of sites in the net about it. Super clean

What a relief! I was able to clean my apartment this evening, after my duty at my employer's place. Mission accomplished indeed,hehehe. I have a little vacuum cleaner for the apartment, but the bag was already empty and there's no spare bag left. So I told my male employer about it and he wrote down the name of the vacuum and bought new bags. I told him about it last week and this afternoon, he came home with a box of new bags. I was glad coz I'm already planning to remind him about it coz the apartment needs vacuuming already,:)

I vacuumed, and also cleaned the bathroom, so my apartment is super clean now,yeheyyyyy! I really love it when my apartment is freshly cleaned. So nice and it makes me happy and gives me a positive energy,:)

The fashion saga continues

I am still here in front of lappy and still checking out different fashion sites. My back is already aching and I wanted to take a nap, but I'll hold on a little bit. I want to entertain myself as much as possible to lessen the stress and tension that I'm feeling due to the on-going quarrel with the bf. Hayyyyyyy, sometimes, lovelife is really a pain in the a**.:(

Anyways, I am currently checking different Ladies Shirts at http://www.chinchoi.co.uk and so far, so good since the look elegant and formal. Actually Chin Choi has several categories available for shoppers such as shirts, trousers, skirts, tops, dresses, accessories and gift box. I'm glad that Chin Choi is UK -based, so I have a big chance of making an order coz I already did it once with a UK-based health store and everything went fine. I will be looking into all their categories, but right now, I am checking the Knitwear category since it's already spring here and I need a thinner sweater. I want to have another one that I can alternate with my white cardigan.

This fashion net surfing is really in time for my balikbayan box,:) I'll be sending a huge box of goodies to my Mother back home for Christmas. But I have to start filling it in now since the shipment will be in August and it really take time to fill it. I am going to buy clothes for everyone in my family and my closest extended family and stuffs for our home and some other things. Thanks God, he finally made it!

As I've shared to you in my earlier posts, my bf is into something and today, I am so glad coz he finally made it! I was really relieved coz he finally submitted his papers to the Danish Consulate in Cebu. Yep, the bf is also appyling for a job in Denmark as an au pair. I was thankful to God coz I was able to find a host family for him in the net. It's an answered prayer indeed!

His contract came in the mid of March, but his passport was released late due to the Holy Week, so he went to Cebu last Tuesday to submit it. But he was unfortunate enough and his bag was slashed and the envelope with the money for the processing was taken. Grrrrrrrrrrr. That was what I told you that I'm going to tell you later. So this is it! He was robbed and so he had to find another money for the processing. I helped a bit. Monday was holiday, so he was not able to file. A lot of obstacles were really blocking the way. I don't know what it means really. It could be a sign that his not for Denmark or it's just trials from God, to test our perseverance.

We are still quarreling up to now and I hope we can solve the issue before it worsens. We've been quarreling about a lot of issues. He's been quite, but I want to keep on arguing, but I won't share to you the details. Crazy me! Anyways, what's important now is he has already filed his papers to the Danish Consulate. I am thankful to God and hope that He will always be with us!

I'm into fashion...

I'm done cleaning at my host family's house and I'm already here in my apartment, relaxing, surfing and blogging at the same time,:) Multi- tasking indeed!

And right now, I am into fashion net surfing. I don't know what triggers my mood, but my tripping for today is fashion surfing, specifically Ladies Fashion. And as the surfing continues, I stumbled into Basically Black site. I became curious because of its hanger logo. So I kept on reading, until I stumbled into an article titled "The Worst 70's Fashions?" and photos were also posted. I was really having a good laugh as I remember the pictures of my mother and her siblings during the 70's. :) And the photo on the left belonged to the "Sexy 70's fashion" script, hmmm. I like it coz the lady is wearing yellow boots, my fave color. So, yellow boots were considered sexy in the 70's and it's still are until these days, at least for my taste.:)

A relaxed Tuesday

Hi everyone! Hope you had a nice Tuesday. I had a nice and a relaxed one. I only worked about 2 hours in my employer's place (tidying up, laundry and ironing) before taking a nap at my apartment. I went back at around 2:30pm ( a little bit early) coz I made spring rolls for dinner and I always take a lot of time preparing it. I was glad coz the children loved it. :)

And then at 7:30pm, I went to our neighbor's place to babysit for their child (classmate of the eldest child of my host family) while the father played lawn tennis.

Though I have a relaxed day at work, but I'm stressed with my lovelife,:( Yep, been quarreling with the bf since last week. We've been in good terms for a day or two and comes another argument.. Hayyyyyyyyyyy, I wanna give up, gikapoy nako!! I miss my single life without the hassle and stress..samoka oii!!

A rainy Monday

It has been raining here the entire day, pero maaju na lang kay di kusog, and thanks coz I didn't walk the eldest child to school this morning. :)

I had a pretty good day at my host family's place. The house is not dirty at all, so I just made some tidying up and changed the beddings. I made chicken with vegetables for dinner and the kids were complaining once again, but good thing and they still ate coz I promised that I'll make spring rolls tomorrow,:) Bribing the kids really work wonders,ahehehe.

Anyways, I got a letter from the tax authority today and it's 4,575 NOK for a year,so I have to pay it and it means that I won't be having money for a month,huhuhu. But it's ok coz I can get the refund later.

I will be going back to my employer's place at 7:30pm to look after the children coz the couple will be going out to a sushi restaurant to celebrate their 7th year wedding anniversary. I'll bring my laptop there, so I can still blog,:)

The after effect of the korean telenovela madness

Hi everyone! I hope you had a nice weekend and a blessed Sunday. I attended the 9:30am Mass today at St. Joseph with my friends and I went home directly here in my apartment after the Mass. My friends were asking me to go back to Ate Bren's place and go home later, but I refused and decided to really go home early. The main reason? I want to have some sleep,hehehe.

As I shared to you in my post yesterday, I woke up at around 12 noon. Ate Bren, Celyn and I (we were left home coz the others have extra jobs) prepared some food. We ate and started watching Full House once again at around 1pm. Then the madness continues as the other girls arrived and we had a dinner break at 10pm. And then we continued watching and we were able to finish the 8th CD at 1am and I went to bed right away, while Ate Bren and Celyn continued watching the last CD til 3am.Nahhh. And I woke up early with my friends to prepare for the Mass.

I arrived here in my apartment around 12noon, but I havn't blog yet coz right after checking my e-mails and my blogs, I dozed off and woke up at 8pm,hehehe. I just hope best, won't be bringing anymore korena telenovela next weekend,hehehe.

Korean telenovela madness

First, let me tell you about my Friday before explaining the title of this post,:)

My friday was just fine. I cleaned at my host family's place for about 2 hours and I went to my extra job afterwards and cleaned there for 4 hours. I went back to my apartment and called my Mama who's in the city yesterday. I prepared also for my bag for the weekend and took the bus to the Church to attend the CFC-FFL GA. The GA was really good and elders and mission volunteers for Europe were also present. I remembered how bad I am for treating the bf so bad. We had another quarrel (my fault) and yesterday I shared the problem with Mama and she scolded me for acting stupid,huhuhu.

After the GA, I went to Ate Bren's place for the weekend. They were still eating dinner and in a hurry to continue watching the korean telenovela "Full House". I already watched part of the telenovela before, at the host family of my best. Her female employer is Korean and has a lot of korean films and telenovelas, and best has also turned into a korean telenovela fan,hehehe.

and last night, Ate Brenda also turned into an instant fan,hehehe. The Full house has 9 CD's and each CD is about 2 hours playing time. We finished watching the 2nd CD at 2am and I went to sleep already. But Ate Bren continued watching the 3rd CD. I don't know what time she finally went to bed coz we can't talk yet. She's still sleeping,:)

A stressful Thursday

Good day everyone! I hope you had a nice Thursday. Mine was good, but it was really full of stress. First, I woke up so tired coz I only slept for about 2 hours coz the bf informed me about a big problem that he's facing and it has to be solved right away or else he's going to miss his chance in a very good offer. So, I was stressed in thinking how to help him.

I started with my general cleaning, but my mind was on the problem. I was not concentrating with my work really, but thanks God and I still manage to do it right. I was done at 1pm and went down to my apartment to take an hour nap. At 2pm, I went back to my host family's place and started making dinner, I made pancit. I prepared it early coz I still have to pick up the kids. Yes, both kids. So at 3pm, I started walking to the bus stop, waited for the bus and picked up the youngest at her Barnehagen (kindergarten) and we took the bus again and walked to the school to pick up the eldest. Good thing and they're behaving well and when we arrived at the house, we started eating coz the parents already told me that they'll be coming late.

Thanks and I didn't hear any complain about the food,:) I put sweet chili sauce in my pancit and the eldest child asked if she can try. So I allowed her, but advised to only add a small portion since it's hot. And she liked it and to my amazement, she ate 6 portions of pancit and I even told her to keep some for her mother,hehehe. The eldest child has really a good appetite for food. Hmmm, liwat sa au pair jud,hehehe. I'm happy, at least I forgot about the problem for a while coz of the good mood of the kids. I looked after the children for about 30 minutes coz their mother came home late.

As I came down to my apartment, the bf and I started exchanging text messages and we came up to a solution. Thanks God and I just hope all will be well. I'll tell you about it tomorrow coz I still have to wait for the progress. And I'm really praying to Him that he'll succeed with it. God help him.

I flared up!!

Hi everyone! I hope you had a nice Wednesday! Mine was not that great though,:( I had a nice day at my employer's place coz I was not busy at all. Then I went to the neighbor and helped her for 1 hour.

And as I went down to my apartment, things started to worsen,:( I've been quarreling with the bf for almost 2 weeks now,:(. I knew that I'm wrong, but I continued to fight..my pride fueled me to fight the non-sense,grrrrrrrrrrrrr. And just this afternoon, I flared up like a ball of fire and barked at him like a madman!! The madness continued and I was finally relieved about an hour ago! And I was so ashamed coz I said a lot of non-sense things and so impressed coz the bf is always humble and always keeping it cool!!He sent me a message asking me if I'm already fine!! Di man jud mo patol sa ahong ka gaga ooiii bisan unsaon ug away,hehehe.

A lot of realizations sinked into my minds with our fight. So far, this is the biggest fight we had and glad that it's finally over,:) Thanks God, HE's really always nice to me despite my sinfullness. I will forever be grateful to HIM. The bf has shared to me a lot of things to ponder and I also remember what he shared to me before that a problem will keep on repeating until the lesson is learned. And because I didn't learn the lesson that God wants me to learn, so the same problem is happening over and over again. Hopefully, this will be the last occurrence of the problem since the realization has already been absorbed. :) I sooo heart my baby really,:)

I'm also glad coz I finally got the courage to clean my apartment, yeheyyyyyyyyy!!What a success,:) Happy Wednesday everyone!

April fool's day

I hope you weren't fooled out there! I wasn't fooled this day so far, lucky me!:)

I had a pretty relax day at my employer's place coz the house is not dirty at all (I already made the cleaning yesterday), so I only did some tidying up. And I went down to my apartment so early and blog hop. And stumbled upon April fool's jokes that sound really convincing,hehehe. Good thing and I read all the comments of the articles first, so I already knew that they were April fool day's spoof.

The first one I read was the launching of Virgle, which is authored by Virgin founder Richard Branson and Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. And it says that Virgle will be leading hundreds of users on one of the grandest adventures in human history, which is the first permanent human colony on Mars. Visit the Virgle site that they made here. Larry and Sergey even made a video to really make the spoof real,:) And there's even a button to click if you wish to be a Virgle pioneer. Some of the comments said that Larry and Sergey are not very good in their acting though,hehehe. Larry was not able to hide his grinning,hehehe.

And the 2nd one I read is the launching of PayPerTweet by Darren Rowse, the blogging guru of ProBlogger.net. PPT concept is just like PPP and it means that Tweeter.com will be monetized. I also read all the comments and I really had a good laugh about it. Many were really fooled. There were advertisers who even commented that they want to register right away and they were also bloggers who want to sign up instantly. They even complained that the e-mail add given by Darren is not working,hehehe. You can read the entire article here.

When the children came home (a friend came home with them), they were really euphoric coz I made spaghetti for dinner. And they tried to fool me that there's something in the lake behind,hehehe. But I already got the idea since they've saying the phrase "April fool" in Norsk.

She's finally a mother!

My dearest bestfriend, 2yang, is finally a mother! And I'm so thankful to God for giving her a safe and successful delivery. I received a text message from her at dawn, informing me that she has already given birth at around 2am Philippine time. Thanks God. She delivered a cute little boy,:) Can't wait to see their photos,:)

I'm hoping that everything will be fine with her and the baby. And I'm sure she'll be a great mother! In our group, she's always the kind and serious one and also my other bestfriend, Bhing, and yours truly is always the "pasaway" one,hehehe. But don't get me wrong coz I'm also kind sometimes,hehehe.

I would also like to thanks my blogger friends who said a prayers for my dearest best's safe delivery. And special thanks to Ate Rissa and Bless for the prayers.
