Sunday fun....

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a blessed Sunday. I just got back from my Sunday fun and it was truly fun,:) Ate Becky and I, went out again at around 1pm to CBN Group, it's the name of the company where we can send money to Pinas cheaper than western union and it's in Plaza Catalunya. So we went there by foot but we got lost and decided to take the metro and upon reaching the plaza, we decided to tour around first and took pictures before finally finding the place. We truly had fun in the plaza taking pics and we went to CBN afterwards. We ate at McDonalds afterwards. Then we went to the street with a lot of asian stores to buy things and we lost our way once again,hehehe. We kept on asking until we found it and we also met some filipino seamen on our way. Then we went to the church 1 hour ahead of the Mass since we don't have another place to go and it'd already so tiring if we still have to go back to the boarding house.

After the mass, I met Belle once again, SFC Barcelona and she introduced me to other SFCs. Then Ate Becky went to a birthday party and I went with Belle together with James and Anne and we had dinner at KFC. What a lovely and blessed Sunday. Thanks God for the gift of life and friendship.:)

late...

I am so upset coz we haven't attended the 10am Mass today coz we were late.:( I put my alarm at 8:30am, but then I went back to sleep and finally woke up at 9am and the moment we came down the stairs, it was already 9:57am and we still have to go to the train station and take the train, so we decided to just go back and attend the 6pm Mass coz I don't wanna go to church late. And since Ate Becky has a birthday to attend at 6pm, so I am going to the church alone to attend the 6pm Mass. Our landlady said that 6pm Mass is also nice since it's also filipino Mass.

For now, I am just waiting and trying to organize things coz we are going to the place where we can send money to the Pinas and afterwards, we are going to tour around plaza Catalunya and take some pictures.:) Have a blessed Sunday everyone!!!

New look!!!

I've finally cut my hair short and I am so contented with the result,:) My roommate and I had difficulty finding the filipino saloon and it took us almost 1 hour to find it, but it was all worth it coz the owner and the workers were very entertaining and so friendly. Ate Becky end up cutting her hair too and coloring it too,hehehe. Yes, I colored my hair to have a new image. It's really a total make-over for me,:) I won't tell you the color of my hair coz it's just for you to see when the photos will be uploaded already,:) We're going to church tomorrow and we'll be taking more pictures and I'll download it tomorrow afternoon. Just bear with me and hope that you'll like my make-over,:) And I just hope my employers won't fire me for coloring my hair into something different,hehehe.

happy and relieved!!!

Yohoo, it's my day-off today and I am so happy coz I can finally relax from work. And I am relieved too coz Ate Becky has already told our landlady about our need for an extension wire so we can charge our gadgets inside our room. Then she told us that it's ok and that we actually have a socket in our room, just behind the closet. So we looked for it a while ago and viola!!!There it was behind the big closet and now I am so happy coz I can now freely use my computer without hiding or getting scared. I took my lappy in the kitchen and our landlady saw it and she didn't say anything negative. She even asked me if I can connect to the internet or not. Thanks God and the feeling of being scared is now gone. Atleast, I won't be hiding like a criminal or something,hehehe.

Day-off!!!!

Yohoo, I have my day- off today!,:) The children don´t have school and the father is just staying home, so I don´t have to come and work. I woke up late today, 10am,hehehe. Trying to get a long sleep as much as possible coz this week is really so tiring and the pimples started to pop upeven if I already had my menstruation. I don´t want to end up having an acne treatment, so I have to get a goodnight sleep as much as possible.

I will try to find the filipino saloon after my net time here coz I want to cut my hair short. Yes, I already cut my hair shorter before coming here in Spain, but I want to cut it real short this time. New place, new life and new hair,hehehe. I just hope I will look good with a short hair. I´ll keep you posted,:)

so busy and tired...

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well! I went in the net cafe last Sunday, but too bad and I was not ble to blog in here coz I was so busy in making some other things with the net and I was so tired too from the busy week. The work is indeed so tiring, but I am not complaining, atleast I am not jobless and my new employers are so nice to me. I am happy, very happy.

I am really trying to blog constantly as much as possible, but the time sched is just so hectic. I can use my laptop at the boarding house coz I´m able to catch an unprotected signal, but then the lappy gets lowbat so easily and I´m ashamed to keep on charging it, so I can´t use it very often too, grrrrrrrrrrr. We don´t have an electric socket in the room, so I have to charge it outside and so the owner of the house can always see it. So no chance of using the net at home so often, so sad,:(

touring around....

I met my male employer this morning and he toured me in their place. They only have a small flat coz they´re only living in an apartment in one of the residential areas here in Barcelona. I am glad coz it means, I won´t be cleaning a huge place. I have to concentrate more on the children and make sure that they are well take cared of when they arrive from school. Their place is 30 minutes travel with the train from Barcelona and I went back here alone after the meeting and I´m glad coz I found my way home,:)

I was not able to get in to my boarding house because I don´t have a key yet, so I just tour around the surroundings near my boarding house tofamiliarize with the place. There´s a lot of shops around and I saw a lot of promotional products on display in the shops. I also ate at KFC for lunch,:) Having a time alone on my very first day in Spain. But I´m not feeling homesick coz Spain is very similar to Pinas. I feel like I am home.:)

Sleepless....

Last night was my first day here in Barcelona and I was sleepless. It was difficult for me to get some sleep even if I really want to because I have to go up early. but I finally fall asleep around 1am. Sabi nga ni ate, namamahay pa raw ako kaya hindi pa masyado makatulog. I am now boarding in an apartment owned by a filipino couple from Batangas. They have 1 boy with them and they have an available room since some of their children have already left home after marrying.

I am sharing my room with another filipina who also worked in Denmark. She´s here for about a week now and I call here Ate. I am so relieved after knowing that I am only sharing the room with 1 more girl coz I thought I will be sharing it with 5 or 8 girls. Atleast, we have some privacy.

I hope I can get a longer sleep tonight coz I really need a lot of energy tomorrow as I will officially start working.

Here in sunny Spain!!!

Buenas dias everyone!! I hope you are all well! I am so happy because I am already here in sunny Spain!! Si, I am already here in Barcelona, Spain and I just arrived here yesterday at around 7pm. I know it´s a bit shocking with you too, but coming here in Spain is also a rushed decision for me. And everything happened so fast in the last few days with me. But I truly believed that everything happens for a reason and because He has already planned everything.

I am so excited to be here in Spain though everything is unsure yet, but I know that slowly, everything will fall into place because He is always there to give guidance. I always believe and trust in Him and all I have to do is be faithful to Him.

I will keep you posted with my new journey here in Spain and I will do my best to blog as much as possible. Have a nice day everyone!

My cousin, Florean, has just arrived here last August 19 from her almost 3 months of vacation in Pinas. Most of her winter stuffs and other clothes are still in Denmark, so she don't have enough. But she has a lot of winter clothes, accessories and other stuffs now coz I have a lot of stuffs that fit her and I can't bring them all to my new destination coz I'll have an excess baggage,:) So I told her not to bring clothes anymore, so she won't end up having a lot of things just like me. She better spend her money wisely and not in shopping things.

relieved atlast!

I am so relieved right now because my balikbayan box had been picked up already this afternoon. I was so worried about it coz I called the company since Monday and they told me they'll try to pick it up on Tuesday, then Wednesday. I kept on calling them everyday and this morning and really urging them to pick it up since I will be leaving tomorrow morning. Good thing and they came and picked it up. The in-charge was complaining coz my box was so full (buntis daw) and so heavy, but I can't do nothing coz it's already sealed.

And after they picked up the box, I continued cleaning the apartment. I was done cleaning a while ago and I am so relieved that I have already cleared all my things and the apartment.

I am just waiting for my male employer to text me because he's going to drive me to my friend's place to bring all my things there. I really need his help because I have a lot of things : 2 luggages and 4 huge plastic bags. Just can't believe that I have so much things.

Leaving so soon!

As I told you in my earlier post, not so good things happened in the past few weeks with me, while being isolated from the blogosphere. One if it is my quarrel with my female employer last week. It was really so disappointing and I thought that she has already crossed the boundary, so I fought back and decided to leave earlier than the original plan of leaving on the end of the month.

I'm indeed leaving so soon here, so soon coz it will be on Friday already. And I am leaving so soon to for another country to look for a greener pasture. Instead of booking for a vacation trip and looking for nice vacation packages on the net, just like Orlando vacations and other vacation packages, I end up booking a plane ticket so Spain the other day. Yes, Spain will be my next destination and it will be so soon indeed because the flight schedule is already on the 15th.... 4 more days and I'll be leaving Norway,:( So sad....

I'm back from the isolation!!!!

Yeheyyyyyyyyyyy!!! I really very, very happy to be back into the blogging world,:) I really missed the blogosphere and I've been itching for almost 3 weeks to blog and blog hop once again. Finally, the day has come, thanks God.

My last entry was dated August 18 (Monday) and it was also the last time that I got an internet connection. The following day, the connection was destroyed. I told my employer right away and he also called the customer service of Telenor many times (the company in-charge of our connection) and they said that our modem was broken, so they have to send a new one and it will take 3 days. But i've waited for almost 3 weeks before we got the connection back.

A lot has happened in the past weeks and mostly were sad and disappointing. The lovelife is not going well as well as my job here. The past 2 weeks has been rough for me, but it's ok because I learned a lot of lessons from the experiences. And no worries because God is always with me in all the trials I experienced.

I will tell you more about what happened to me in the past weeks in my next posts and I'll try to blog about different happenings separately.
