finally......

I am so thankful to God coz finally, I was able to voice out my grievances to my employer and I finally told him that I wanted to leave and stop working at there place already. I've been wanting to do it, but I extended my patience and tried to understand the situation even if it's so difficult for me already. But it came to the point that I can't handle it anymore and it's already affecting my health and my peace of mind. Atleast, I feel good now that I was able to let go of what I've been keeping inside for so long. Now, I am no longer worried and nervous. Thanks God!

skipping the class once again:(

Yes, I skipped my idioma class once again due to the windstorm:( Or I just made it as an excuse not to go to school, hehehe. But really, it's so tiring to go to school with such weather. I was even exerting more force in walking on my way home coz the wind is so strong and it's like sweeping me off the ground. So here I am in the boarding house, all alone and enjoying lappy,:)

windstorm...

I don't know if it's an official windstorm, but the wind is so strong here in BCN since the morning. I left around 1pm from work coz there's no electricity in the house and can't prepare anything for lunch. But earlier, I went outside to throw the garbage and when I came back, the huge tree in the mini garden where I passed was already down. And when I saw it, I instantly thanks God coz it didn't fell down while I was passing. The 2 older men said that I was lucky coz they saw me passing in the lobby earlier too. Thanks God!

And there was no train in our station, so we took the autobus towards another station. There were a lot of fallen trees on the road and I arrived home around 3:30pm. So late indeed even if I went home earlier than the usual. Until now the wind is still so strong outside.

I missed reading....

In my 4 months of stay here in BCN, I've only read 2 novels and the 2nd one I haven't finish yet,:( It's unusual for me since I really love reading and in DK and NO, I was able to read a lot of novels and I also kept on buying. But here in, I haven't bought any,:( and that's because of a very busy schedule. Maybe, shopping online for books is a good idea, so I won't go to a bookstore anymore and because I love to buy my books and novels at low prices, then Amazon books will be a good choice for me,:)

Losing weight....

That's what my friends are thinking, but I don't really feel that I am losing weight,:( But if I look thinner than before, it's not because of the diet I am doing, but it's because of the stress and tiring work,:( I've been so stressed and tired lately at work ( a lot of things to deal with: the children, my parents,etc.). And my everyday commute to and from work is what burdens me a lot.

And today, I'm not really feeling well. I felt so tired and my back is aching big time,:( I think, I'm going to get sick in the next few days,:( But hope I won't.

Sinulog 2009 in BCN

It's so nice to be part of Sinulog 2009 here in Barcelona,:) We celebrated the feast of Sto. Ninio here in BCN today and we had a little Sinulog before the 6pm Mass. There was a reenactment of the first Sinulog and different Sinulog dance by different groups from small children to adults. Visayans were in-charge of the program, so I was part, hehehe. I was part of the "young ladies" group and we also had an offertory dance. It was such a busy weekend and I even skipped my Spanish class just to attend the dance practice yesterday and I also went to the Church at 2pm for the preparation. All in all, Sinulog 2009 in BCN was a successful one, thanks God. And after the mass, members of the Lions Club in BCN ( Spanish people) were there to give toys to the Filipino children, one toy for each child. So, the kids got so excited while waiting for their turn,:)

Tired and stressed....

Ohh my, my last post here was on January 5,:( I'm suppose to blog more frequently in 2009, but too bad and I'm not really feeling well lately,:( I'm always tired with my work and also stressed since the children are so difficult to handle and my female employer is also difficult to deal with,:( And the status of my papers here is also adding to the stress,:( I'm really having a hard time here in Spain.Life here is completely different from my life in Denmark and Norway, but I have to strive to survive. So I'm extending my patience as much as possible and praying to God a lot coz I know that I can only handle things with His guidance.

Even my blogging is affected with my situation coz I can't think clearly and I can't organize my thoughts. So, writing is a little bit difficult these days,:(

no work tomorrow!

Yeheyyyy, thanks God and I have no work tomorrow,:). It's a public holiday here in Spain coz of the feast of the 3 Kings. Most Filipinos said that Spaniards celebrate 3 Kings hugely than Christmas and New Year. There was a parade today and they're throwing candies to the people (mostly children) watching the parade and also giving toys to the children. I'm glad coz it means that I can wake up very late tomorrow,:)

the flat tv is here!

I mentioned before that the owner of my boarding house bought a new flat screen tv and they're just waiting for delivery. Finally, it was delivered before Christmas. It's a 32" Regza Toshiba and we're loving it coz the screen is so clear. And another cool feature of the tv is that, it can be switched into the english language even if the movie is in spanish, if it says Dual 2. You just have to press a button and set ip into Dual 2 and it will automatically be in english. Isn't it great?

My roommate and I had already watched several movies with the tv and we're really impressed with it's clarity and brightness. It's like we are in the theater. The owner of house is still looking for a tv stand that will fit and match with the tv. But meanwhile, they put it in their old tv stand since they went home to the PI for vacation.

Lolo's Birthday!

My maternal grandparents during my vacation in 2006.

Today, January 3, is my maternal grandfather's birthday, Happy 73rd Birthday to my dearest Lolo Bibo! I love my Lolo so much, he's very dear to me. And when my Papa passed away, Lolo also tooked the responsibility of fathering us, my bro and me. He has always been supportive to us and to all his grandchildren since then and we all love and adore him. He's already in his 70's but he's still so strong and so active. People in our place said that he's didn't get old. Thanks God.

I always pray to God to always give him and Lola good health and long life. I love them both!

salad...

I've already started eating salad for dinner 2 days ago, and so far so good,:) I'm planning to do it for the next 2 months or so to get rid of the weight I gained during the holidays. I'm already bigger compared when I was still in Norway and my cousin confirmed it, argggg, so it really means that I have to go back to exercising and eating more healthy foods. I've been eating a lot of junk foods lately, so I have to stop it too. I'm also going to surf for healthy cooking tips, so I will have healthy food variation. It will be boring if it will always be salad for dinner. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated too.:)

Happy New Year!
