i finally disposed it...

I finally throw the diet pills I bought all the way from Thailand when I was still in Norway. I blogged about it here that I was taking the pills in the hope of losing some weight, but the side effects were very upsetting, so I decided to stop taking it. I experienced palpitation and severe headache. But I didn´t throw the pills coz I was thinking that maybe I can try it once again and it might be effective already. When I came here in Spain, I took the pills again for a week and then I experienced the same side effects, so I stopped it and promised to myself never to take it again. But I still kept the pills though. And just lastnight, I decided to take it once again and was so hopeful that it will work this time. But I felt the headache and felt weird, so I finally decided not to try it again. I know I already promised myself a lot of times not to take the pills, but I kept on doing it, but this time, I´ll be true to my promise and will do my best to lose weight the natural way. And as a proof, I took the pills and throw it into the garbage. I am so glad that I did it. I know part of myself was holding into it coz it cost me a fortune in buying it, but I don´t care anymore now. It´s just money. My health comes first.

less work...

My work is lessen today coz the eldest child is not here. My female employer drove her to the paternal grandparent´s place just before dinner coz she´ll be sleeping there and will be going to a festivity in Barcelona that´s similar to the festivity in Sevilla, as my employer told me. So, I took care of the small child : gave bath and then fed him. I thought the mother will come back right away, but she just arrived about 30 minutes ago. So, when she arrived, the kiddo was already in bed sleeping. And tomorrow, it will be lesser work still coz the eldest child is coming back in the evening.

in the tv room...

I am here in the tv and play room of the kids and just finished watching Shrek 2:) My employers already told me before that I can always watch tv and movies in the tv room during the night since the children are already sleeping, but I´ve never used it before. And last week, my female employer told me once again and said that I never watched tv,hehehe. So, I told her that I have my lappy in the room and I can watch shows and movies too in the net. But I´m really planning to watch the cartoon films my "alagas" have since I haven´t seen them when I was still a kid:( So now, I started with Shrek 2 though I already saw some parts of the film, but it´s always nice to see the entire film. It´s a very nice and romantic cartoon film and I love it just like Shrek 1.

i missed the HH...

Today is our very first singles household (HH) prayer meeting after the graduation of our new batch of CFC-FFL members. It´s a joint HH of the singles and servants. But too bad and I missed it coz of the babysitting:( I am really so upset and the feeling intensifies as Ate R. told me that I am the only one absent in the female members,huhuhu. They had so much fun and I missed it:( But I can´t do nothing since I can´t control the situation, I am just hoping that I will no longer miss the next HH.

And aside from missing the HH, I missed the plan of going to the wholesale clothing store too. I know I said that I ma going to minimize my expenses, but just want to visit the store to see if there´s some nice summer clothes there at lower price.

babysitting....

Grrrrrrr, I am here in my employer´s place taking care of the children coz they went out for dinner with friends as part of my female employer´s b-day celebration. She asked me about the babysitting on Monday. So, instead of having my off this afternoon, I´ll be going home tomorrow afternoon, but they´re going to pay me separately since it´s no longer part of my job. I am already itching to go home coz I´m bored already for 6 days of working straight. I need to go out and see the outside world:) Even if I am going back here on Monday, but I will really go home tomorrow coz I want to attend the 6pm Mass. It´s ok if I can´t stroll with friends for the weekend, what´s important is that I can attend the Mass.

tea-drinking....

I am back to my tea-drinking regimen almost 2 weeks ago and I´m glad coz I feel better. My female employer noticed it and asked what kind of tea I am taking coz she´s going to buy for me and I told her that I drink any kind of tea, but I prefer green tea coz it´s what I´m taking now. I am so glad coz she´s really concern about me. Though her English is not so good, but atleast she really tries to communicate with me. Though the tea is working, but I´ll still read some slimming pills review just incase I´ll need it in the future.:)

a very busy weekend...

I had a very busy weekend indeed, but it was all worth it since it was spend with my good friends who are already like a family to me here in Barcelona:)

Saturday was the b-day celebration of Ate R.,my roommate, and our landlady and landlord, Ate V. and Kuya J., had a little surprise party for her and I was conniving with them:) They prepared goto, pancit and cake for her and invited our co-singles in the community. I was assigned to pick up the visitors in the bus stop and coz they come in batches, so I end up going back and forth to the bus stop for 3 times:)

I already changed into a nicer clothing and Ate was laughing coz she told me that as if I am the one having the bday,hehehe. She don´t wanna change coz she said that it will only be us, so why bother to change. So we just said that Ate and Kuya invited some of their family, so we have to look presentable,hehehe. So she changed and was totally surprise when our co-singles started coming. Since they arrived, the house has been so full of noise and we just kept on laughing:) We really had so much fun and we all enjoyed it despite the fact that we are like sardines compressing in our very cute boarding house:).

no more headache...

Yohoo, I am glad coz no more headache now:) I think it´s because of the very bright lights here in my room. I switched it off and as planned, I turned on the lampshade and it´s ok now. The light is just enough. I hope I wouldn´t have a headache anymore coz it´s not really nice. It´s disrupting my blogging work,hehehe. I am already sleepy but I´ll try to stay a little bit longer and finish some pending tasks before finally dozing off:)

Arrgggg, I am having a headache again and it´s not good anymore coz I´m experiencing it everyday since I got my net connection and lappy here. Maybe it´s because of the very bright light in my room and I´m facing the lappy screen. Maybe there´s some conflict between the 2 lights. I really don´t know, but I hope it´s nothing serious. I have to sleep in a little while and hope that the headache will be gone in the morning. Good night everyone!

career change....

I´ve chatted with an online friend few days ago and he mentioned about the possibility of me becoming a computer engineer and I said that it´s very impossible. But after the conversation, I gave the idea a second thought and my mind is starting to like it,hehehe. Since I am using a laptop almost everyday and have already a little knowledge about computers and since I am always eager to learn new things and tricks about computer usage, then maybe it can be possible,:) But as what I´ve heard, IT jobs are really demanding when it comes to time, patience, etc. I don´t think I can manage, hehehe.

Vince Flynn!

I´ve started reading Vince Flynn´s novels 2 weeks ago and so far, so good. The stories are very interesting and it keeps me in turning the pages and as an end result: it made me sleepless:( But I don´t really care if I sleep less coz the story is really worth it. I just love his style of writing and his topics (CIA and terrorism,etc.) are very entertaining and full of suspense. And from now on, Vince Flynn joins John Grisham and Stephen King in the list of my favorite authors.:) More books to go:)

Next target : Nikon D60

I´ve been wanting to buy Nikon D60 since my Norway days and I could have buy it before if I only used my money wisely:( But anyways, no room for regrets now coz it already happened. I´ve been eyeing Nikon D60 here coz I really want to bring my photography hobby into a higher level, but itçs still expensive. So I said to myself that I´ll just wait for it to be on sale. And I think that it´s the right time for me to buy it, in time for summer coz for sure, it will be so nice to take a lot of photos. The original price of Nikon D60 is 699 euros and now, it´s on sale for 399 euros, so I will save 200 euros if I will buy now.Am I making the right decision? What do you think?

Yeheyyy!! I am so happy coz I already have a permanent wireless connection now and it comes with an HP mini 2133. I was only planning on subscribing for a wireless modem, but PhoneHouse has an offer where I can get the HP mini 2133 for only 100 euros with a wireless subscription instead of the original 299 euros price without subscription. So I grabbed the offer coz it´s more comfy bringing the mini here in my work instead of bringing my acer lappy which is way too huge than this one.
