Barça - European Football Champion!

Yohoooo, I am so happy coz Barcelona Football Team, FCB, is the European Football Champion for 2009 and they played against Manchester United. The game just ended and the surrounding is very noisy with shouting and fireworks and my roommate said that it´s more noisy in Barcelona.

I should admit that I am a Barça fan-in-the-making,hehehe. I don´t care about football before, but since I started working here in my new employers, my male employer is so crazy about Barça team and his shout of cheers when Barça plays encourages me to watch the games too.

My male employer watched the game at his brother´s house together with other close friends. For sure , they are so happy and so noisy in there,hehehe. He said the game will start at 10pm, but I was late in opening the TV. I already heard shouting from the neighbors and when I finally switched on the TV, Barça already scored 2 points. So, all I saw were replays of how they scored. The game ended at 2 - 0. And since Barça won the Championship, it means that someone owes me dinner,hehehe. I´ll tell you about it in a separate post.:)

excited for the weekend!!

Yeheyyy, 2 more days and it´s finally weekend and I am so excited coz I´m gonna be free from work,:) I am always excited for the weekend to come so I can relax and unwind from work. This weekend will be an extra exciting coz we are going to have our SFL household (hh) prayer meeting in our boarding house and it´s gonna be just us, sisters:) And then, we will also start moving our things to our new place which is near the center of Barcelona. By the end of the month, we will be staying at our new place. And we are all giddy to move coz the new place is so huge, 4 to 5 times bigger than our place in Barceloneta, that´s why we are all excited. We will have a huge place where we won´t feel that our space is limited and we can now move without inhibition. Yeheyyy thanks God.

Unchanging Love....

Unchanging Love is the title of the wedding special of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo that was shown yesterday in Pinas. My roommate, Ate R., told me that the coverage was already available at PinoyChannel, so we hurriedly went to the site and watched the videos. But too bad and only the 1st vid out of 11 played. The rest can´t be opened. So we went to bed frustrated.:(

Thanks God and the videos are already ok now and I just finished watching the entire coverage. I am so "kilig" until now and I am so happy for both of them. I am a big fan of Judy Ann since my elementary days. It´s a simple, yet very unique wedding.

Now, I can go to bed with a smile in my face and perhaps it wil trigger me to dream of "my wedding",hehehe.

My blogging and YM...

Ohhh my, I was so ashamed after Florean "my 1st cousin in Norway) told me how she knew about my blog posts. She told me that the post title of the day for my blog appears on my YM status. What??? Are you sure?? Ohhh my, I really felt so ashamed for not knowing about it and I felt that I am from a different generation... a very old generation:( It just shows that I am no lnoger updated about the latest news. :( I am seeing the blog posts of my blogger friends in their YM profile and I thought that it´s because they made some program sychronizing their blog with their YM. And Florean said that my blog posts still appear on my TM even if I am invisible. And I was able to confirm it as my friend in Norway sent me a pm in YM telling me that good for my brother and he´s already home and that she enjoyed reading my blog. And I even replied to her, which blog are you reading? The one at Friendster? Obviously, my friend saw my blog posts too in my YM status that´s why she knew that my brother is going home already..

On the other hand, I was happy coz it means that I have an avid reader,hehehe. Since Florean said that she´s been reading my posts, especially when I don´t have a permanent net connection yet, that´s why she´s still updated about me even if we were no longer chatting constantly.

And this discovery encourages me to improve my writing to make my avid reader/s (with and s if someone´s constantly visiting me too aside from Florean,hehehe) come back for more.:)

My Brother´s trip...

My dearest and only brother who is working in Denmark for 1 year and 6 months is finally going home to Pinas after his contract. His trip was at 7:50am today at Copenhagen airport. He´s flying with Cathay Pacific, so he´ll have stop overs in London and Hongkong. He will be arriving in Cebu at 11am, Pinas time and take a plane or a fast craft to Tagbilaran. I am praying for his safe trip and please pray for him too. Lord, please bring my brother safely to our place.

My mother, together with my bro´s children, Eric and 2 other girls living in our home, is going to Tagbilaran for my brother´s arrival. For sure,they´re already on their way to the city since it´s already morning in the Pinas now. They are so excited to see my brother.

I am really happy that my brother is finally going home coz I am more at ease knowing that there´s already a male in the house to serve as a protector of the entire family. Eric is the only male in the house now, but he´s still 10 years old. I am excited to hear updates from them.

crawling....

Argggg, my net connection yesterday was really crawling and it took me forever to open any site,thus, I was not able to blog..grrrrrrrrrrr. I was able to open YM though, but I was not chatting. I read some inspirational article at www.bosanchez.ph and I was patiently waiting for so long for the page to finally load.

But despite the crawling net connection, it was ok coz I had a good day yesterday. I was so inpired with all the article´s I read at Tito Bo´s site.

she surprised me...

I am referring to my 1st cousin who is in Norway now (the one I chatted with earlier,aww until now)hehehe coz she suddenly blurted out "weight loss man lagi ta ron" and I know she´s referring to one of my blog entries for today in this blog. So, it means that she´s visiting my blog which I didn´t expect that she´s doing,hehehe. She also mentioned about the rabbit meat and I wrote about it in my health blog, so meaning she´s visiting my blogs..Thanks a lot mae..I am so glad that you are constantly peeping in here. And now that you keep on visiting here, here´s a message for you::)

I may not say this so often to you, but I love you so much and you are already a little sister to me. I ache with your problems and trials as if they´re my own and I want to help you with the best I can. Keep up the good work and I am so proud of you coz you are so strong in facing all the trials. I thought before that you are not that strong coz you are the silent type, but you´ve proven me wrong. Keep on rocking on dai! God bless you always.

missing home terribly..

Yes, I miss home terribly:( I was chatting with my cousin who is working in Denmark right now and she told me at the middle of our conversation that she dreamed about my Papa. I was so touched and tears instantly rolled out of my eyes:( I missed Papa and my family back home terribly..I want to go home now and just go back here in the morning. How I wish I have superpowers so I can do it without any difficulties! But coz I don´t have any, so I have to sacrifice and wait for the time that I´ll finally go home for good:)

And the tears didn´t stop from falling coz after chatting with my cousin in Denmark, I also chatted with my 1st cousin in Norway and we talked about some issues. Issues that made me cry harder. But it´s ok coz I felt lighter after crying. I haven´t cried for so long, so no wonder the tear glands are already anxious to release some of the deposited tears,hehehehe.

I have to entertain myself here, or else I´ll keep on crying ´til dawn and I don´t want to have bulging eyes while working tomorrow.

weight loss..

Yeheyyy, I am so happy coz I am having a weight loss from 54-55 kg to 51-52 kg. and I am so proud of it coz I didn´t take any weight loss pills. I just controlled my appetite here at work and only have a very light supper. I follow somehow the old saying: eat like ak ing for breakfast, like an ordinary man for lunch and like a beggar for supper. Though there´s a little twist in my routine since it´s lunch time that I eat like a king:) But it really works and I am so happy with it and even my roommates observed that I became thinner compared before..Yohooo!!

Babysitting...

I´m babysitting once again coz the couple went out watch a movie. The children were behaving well during dinner and the baby boy was already happy and lively. Not a trace that he´s having a fever. But still, we gave him the medicines after dinner and the father hopes that the baby will not have a "concert", that´s his term when the baby screams in the middle of the night and it´s very irritating coz the baby is having a "concert" almost every night for almost 1 week now. Hope he´ll have some rest tonight.:)

I´m going to log off after this post and doze off:) I am already trying my best not to sleep very late as to feel fresh and active in the morning. 12:30am is the cut-off and the earlier the better. But so far, I haven´t sleep earlier than that, it´s most of the time later than that, but I am trying my best this week to change it. And so far, so good.:)

cleaning the mini-office...

I was really itching to clean the mini-office of my employers (located adjacent to their room) yesterday, but I ran out of time. So this morning, I made sure to clean it and thanks God and I´m done with it already. It was easy cleaning it coz it doesn´t have a lot of rubbish and it was more or less arranged. All I did mostly was wipe off the dust accumulated for so long:)

I also took out the things from the drawers and arranged them nicely. My male employer is running a printing business and no wonder, I saw a lot of rubber stamps in one of the drawers. I´m done with the mini-office, so next week, it´s gonna be the master´s bathroom and the children´s room.

he has fever...

My 1 and 1/2 years old alaga has fever. It´s only very slight, but it´s so obvious that he´s sick coz he kept on crying while we were in the park this afternoon. He used to be super active and fun when we go to the park, but it was different this afternoon. No matter what I do to keep him entertained, he doesn´t like and just keep on screaming..grrrrrrrr. So his Mom finally decided to go home early and gave him some medicine. Good and he was already smiling during dinner. I just hope he won´t wake up in the middle of the night and start crying.

That´s the title of the book I read last night by Bo Sanchez and it´s really very inspiring that I read it twice:) It was in the e-book form and I got it for free at his site : http://www.bosanchez.ph. Visit his site and download the e-book and you will truly be inspired after reading it. And aside from the e-book, you can also read Bo´s inspiring articles. Since I discovered his site about 2 days ago, I keep going there for more readings coz I feel so inspired after reading his articles and it help me to strive hard to be a better person for God´s greater glory.

so noisy...

I was laughing here in my room a while ago as I heard my male employer screaming downstairs. He´s watching football on TV and he was screaming like a school boy and was uttering words of cheer as his team made a goal and at the same time, I also heard the screaming voices of our neighbors. Good thing and my "alagas" didn´t wake up with the noise created.

Talking about my male employer, he´s supposed to come home around 8 or 8:30pm yesterday and help me in tending the children since the female employer went to the University and came home at 10pm and it´s a Tuesday routine. But I already fed the children and put them to bed, but still the male employer didn´t arrive. And as I finished putting the eldest to bed, there he was entering the room with a fused hands (as if praying) and bowed his head as he said "I am sorry, I am late" to me. And I just said "no problem" with a matching smile. I already suspected that he was a little bit drunk coz if the way he walked and I confirmed my doubts and I walked past him and smelled alcohol. Hmmm, so he came home late coz he went to a drinking session. Maybe he tried the wine of the month of his favorite hangout with his friends. Hope he won´t be late next Tuesday, so I´ll have some help in tending the children.

a lazy Tuesday....

I was not able to blog yesterday coz I felt so lazy to do things, let alone blog:( My free time after my work was wasted just staring at the ceiling and trying to think of something. Even the thinking process was so hard coz I can´t even figure out what to think. The mind was not cooperating at all. My entire system was in a "lazy mode":( Thanks God and when I woke up in this morning, I was so full of energy and wanting to do a lot of things. So glad that I am no longer in the lazy mode now:)

sooo busy...

Ohh my, I was so busy at work today! So much things to do and I want to do them all, so I was hurrying all the time that I didn´t even bother to stop and eat something inbetween breakfast and lunch, which I usually do during my "not-so-busy" days. And I liked it this way coz it makes me forget about food, one of my weaknesses,hehehe. Really, I like it when I have a lot of things to do so I won´t have extra time to think about food and to actually eat even if it´s not necessary to do so:) So from now on, I will try to be busy all the time coz it serves as a natural appetite suppressant for me.:)

Pacman vs. Hatton

One of my roommates told us that Pacman won the fight against Hatton and that the fight only lasted for 2 rounds. But to satisfy myself, I watched the fight at Pinoy Channel and I as really screaming for joy after Hatton was knocked down by Pacman. I thought at first that my roommate was not telling the truth about the fight lasting only for 2 rounds coz 5 seconds left in the 2nd round and they´re still fighting and then suddenly, Pacman gave Hatton a blow with his left hand and Hatton was suddenly on the ground. So amazing!! The ates even told me that I am crazy coz after screaming for joy, I danced and sing "tahhdaddddahhh I feel good!",hehehehe. Another proof that Filipinos are indeed world-class.:) Go Pacman!

no more travels...

Yes, no more travels for me while I am here in Spain. It sucks, but I have to accept the truth that I can no longer travel, let alone travel outside the country and have a vacation, just like before in Denmark and Norway. Until now, my papers are not yet fixed. Though my new employers are very willing to process the papers, but they can't do anything coz the processing of papers for foreigners here in Spain has come to a halt due to the crisis. So, I have to wait for it to resume, if not then I have to wait for the "araygo" which takes 3 years. :( Meanwhile, I just try to comfort myself by visiting different travel sites and by looking at vacation deals in the net like Orlando vacations to give myself the feel that I'm preparing for a vacation:)

we went shopping!

We (my roommates and I) finally went shopping at around 8:45pm. Ate R. woke up from her sleep and Ate B. made dinner for us. We ate dinner and after that we walked to Maremagnum, the mall near our place that closes at 10pm. Ate R. bought a summer dress and Ate B. a skinny jeans. And I went home empty handed:( I liked the skinny jeans too, but too bad and it doesn't fit me so well. But on the other hand, I'm glad that I went home empty handed coz it means that I'm able to control the urge to buy. It's a little success,hehehe.

Happy Labor Day to all and I hope that you are all enjoying your day off!:) My work is until Saturday afternoon, so I worked until the afternoon today to have a whole day off tomorrow. Yohoo, I am so happy coz I have a long time to relax and unwind:)

I arrived here in the boarding house at around 3:30pm, but I worked first on my assignment, not my blogging assignments, but one for my CFC-FFL community. Kuya J. asked me to make an invitation letter for the parents of the YFL for the joint Congress in Turin, Italy. I just finished making it and hope that Kuya will approve it. If not, then I'm going to edit it this evening. Meanwhile, I'm going to tour around the blogosphere and look for something intriguing, hehehe.
